The talkSPORT Cup - a quiz competition for fans of 64 teams

A little while back we were asked if we wanted to represent Blackburn Rovers in the inaugural talkSport Cup quiz competition…it didn’t take long for us to say yes & we will update you with our progress in this thread. 

Representing Rovers will be @sasumner & @Herbie6590 so wish us luck as we try to salvage something from our season!

Great effort by that moan utd. Team. I was surprised that Peter Bonneti didn't get more than 10 cap's for England but then again Gordon Banks was Infront of him.

Great effort chaps, well done. 

I find it odd that, of the ones I've seen, the teams are quite young. Most won't remember anything before the Prem - as you proved, you can't beat a bit of experience! (Are you listening Suhail!? 😄)

Good performance and a good watch but not sure we should get carried away yet. Ian and Scott dominated but Brighton were shocking. As bad a team as we will play all season. Still, If we can do it again in the next round then I’ll start to believe.

They are having talks on a Contract extension, as reported by Eliot Jackson. Just hope they dont feature on the 2026 Christmas/New Year Calendar.

I can categorically confirm we are NOT, repeat NOT doing a BRFCS calendar. There would be things you just couldn't unsee!
