Quite glad we didnt get a prem club away, couldn't be doing with the club crowing about us playing some giant when we used to play and beat them regularly before this ownership turned up.

Would have liked one of the non league ones away really.

I remember those days, Willington, Altrincham, Kidderminster and Welling..

I think worse would have been a nightmare long journey away with no novelty factor - Brighton, Southampton, Portsmouth, Ipswich, Norwich, Swansea, Bristol City.

At least with Hull it's not a difficult afternoon out for those who want to go.

Until they stick it on a Thursday night for some overseas country TV that nobody will watch.

Going all the way over the M62 in January can be no joke.

2 hours drive, all motorway, quiet once you get past Leeds and the M1 junction.

Good city centre in Hull and walking distance to the ground.

A boring draw yes but at least not a nightmare journey.

No trains to Hull that Sunday if anyone was thinking of using that as a method of transport, rail replacement buses instead.

I'm sure the club thought very carefully about that when speaking to Hull City and the FA about when we would prefer the fixture to be played, with our supporters in mind.

I'm sure we'll get a relatively small fee for it being shown on the Discovery Channel, that will pay for adequate drainage of maybe one of the penalty areas or something. Most of our games under Ismael could have been shown on the Comedy Channel.

Bet the lads and lasses in Adelaide and La Paz can't wait to settle down to watch Hull and Rovers slog it out. The magic of the Cup...

Can anyone remember / does anyone know if the FA Cup ties are officially audio broadcast by Rovers? Don't have TNT and not in Lancs...
