This twitter interaction is absolutely box office.

Really trying to work out who this negotiator is, no clue.

The account has been deleted. Didn’t manage to save them did you?

He's essentially given out numbers for Rudy, Suhail and Yasir.

Confirmed he's not a Rovers fan but very much anti venkys.

He also dropped a hint saying his team was a similar shirt just red and white. Thinking about that comment, Feyenoord immediately springs to mind. This person is clearly an ex employee who hates venkys and their cronies.

We have an ex manager who left on bad terms and has Feyenoord links, or am I reading way too much into it? 🤔

Remember when we held them to a 0-0 draw at home in 2006 ?!?

I've been going on Ewood since 1975, a ST holder for the vast majority.

I've thought long and hard about whether to boycott or not. I rarely miss and it goes against the grain, but I've decided to swerve tomorrow's game.

They have totally ruined our club.

I totally agree. I was still undecided until the statement came out on Radio Lancs earlier this week. The contempt for the fans clearly came through and at that moment I decided I couldn't go.

My dad is still going and cannot see the reasoning and now the day of the match has arrived I've started to question my self. My dad is 79, time at Ewood are the few quality times I have with him. How many more am I going to have?

Like Jim I still cannot see what another maybe 1,000 missing on a gate of around 7,000 [figures taken from the MAil article v Swansea] are going to show.

Im still dont know whether to go or not.

Stay firm, it is one game, we must take our chance today to make a stand, enough is enough ! Go and see you Dad or take him out for a pint or Sunday lunch instead. Rovers fans have had their self respect destroyed, making a stand today at least helps restore this, you will have done your bit.

Makes no difference in and of itself. But that statement, reducing staff, articles/pieces in the local and national media means it’s had some traction, so job done for now. The key is keeping up the momentum.

Plus, in ten years when either we are sitting pretty with engaged owners or (depressingly) more likely sat in the lower/non-leagues still under these disgraceful people , at least you know you tried.

Are you going today Matty? Have you made a decision?

The boycott has gained reasonable media attention. If we end up with a crowd that isn't that much smaller than normal, it undermines having a boycott at all, and easily allows a "nothing to see here" narrative to be peddled.  There is no choice here.

Only person I know that's going (and I'm in multiples WhatsApp groups etc) is my dad and FIL with his mates. There's 100% going to be a noticeable difference today.

Cue the dingles and other twats on socials saying "iT lOoKs LiKe ThAt EvErY wEek LoL" but it is what it is.....

I have 3 season tickets being left in the drawer today, I have never felt so disenfranchised. It genuinely bleeds my heart not going (not for the hierarchy, nor the owners of course, purely the club), no matter how much I hate the situation, its a routine for us but I am interested to see if this boycott results in anything so 100% voting with my feet.

Short term pain, for long term gain.
Hurtful words on social media will be nothing if we get the club under different ownership.

Going off the number booking on the  Accy supporters coach group chat (coach been going since the early 80s if not before! ) looks like quite a number have decided not to go today..although a few may just turn up without booking.

Shame really the bus really needs the numbers to obviously continue and is a great lifeline to young and old to get to and from games  but again this is something else the Venkys are slowly destroying ..sigh ...COYB!

When does the 'actual' attendance get released? Be interesting to see the difference with the 'official' one!

Will be boycotting along with two others.

Are there any plans for the PNE game - maybe going on 15 minutes later or something else?

I think we're best not doing anything for the PNE match. I don't personally consider it a glamorous fixture or a 'big derby' but lots of fans do and that definitely will sow division if there are calls to boycott, disrupt or do some kind of walk-in/out protest at that match specifically. Plus there will be 7,000 away fans lapping it up and laughing, because it is a 'massive derby' for them

Disagree- imo, today should be the start if we‘re serious. The action group should be talking to their trust and asking them join in. From what I’ve seen, it’s £38 for PNE in some parts of the Darwen End. Failing that, let them outnumber us on Sky. The cameras will pick up on the home ends being empty.

I would say any other match is probably fair game but it won't work for the PNE game. I would probably follow a call to boycott it or walk out or whatever, but lots of fans will not, we can't even convince everyone to boycott a meaningless game against Watford, we've no chance of it succeeding in what is considered the most exciting game of the season. It will just cause more division.

Also, there is no chance of PNE fans joining in a protest, like I said, they consider us a major rival. I couldn't be paid to join in a protest or boycott at B*rnley.
