  1. Why people aren't worried by this or play it down after the amount of times the club have been screwed over is beyond me. Why the owners get the benefit of the doubt and the future looks positive after all the farce of the last 6 years is also beyond me. Good info btw Dunnfc, cheers.

  2. Paid off probably. There was info flying around about them a while back, tabloid journos not just BRFCS speculation. Contrary to what you seem to think a dozen posters or so don't just run around making stuff up on here there has been a lot dripped out via various other sources over the years.

  3. Doing a good job with what little he has, including the players. Long may it continue until summer.

  4. Ask Mortgage Mike (Cheston) as he is known as.... If he can't sell the land, he will sell your houses on brockhole or ST's for the coming season like Craig Whyte at Rangers did via ticketus... oooops he has done so already. that's money you have on direct debit waiting to be paid for or money your working hard at work for to be paid this month, Mike Cheston has already spent and loaned against this. Track the flow of short term loans out the club... They don't go to the FA and who ever has the second loan... They go to VLL but hold on Not VLL pumping in the cash? So the club is loaning its own money and paying the interest on it to do so. All the while VLL continue to keep its own overdraft and loans keeping it afloat...just by living off the proceeds in the last 12 months of BRFC. Fast forward to 2mins 25 secs and see what Mike Cheston/Venkys have done for this year. Who said boycotting isn't harming the club?

  5. No reaction from me. Just think agent talk just be a different thread to the Tony Mowbray one. I'm very relax chill out person. Had a very good positive and productive day.

  6. Denial is a river in Egypt! So frustrating, I agree.

  7. Blimey, Chaddy. We should all wake up to the issue of agents and people like Simon Conning.

  8. He's doing very well in the circumstances imo. Helps that he's also a pleasure to listen to on radio, has passion for the job and is honest!

  9. After 5 games and listening to him speak, I reckon he's the best manager we have had that's been appointed under Venkys ownership.

  10. Balaji's best friend like one of the family, football investment funds popping up backed by who i wonder ? managers sacked out the blue then nearly always replaced by left field 30-1 shots. Players being signed from obscure places where Venkys just happen to have arms of their companies. Their financial input almost dries up the min the parachutes end, etc etc etc Hardly surprising it's suspected at least one (big) one of them has been in bed with the 'partners' all along.

  11. C'mom even if they'd been shafted once twice do you think they'd keep allow themselves to keep getting shafted.. No me neither

  12. Well I think they are"in on it" and the "part-ownership" stuff has plenty of credibility if you've read Glen's stuff properly, so feel free to insult me too!

  13. Bit excessive don't you think? I was only asking why you sounded outraged at something thats been going on for 7yrs?

  14. Cheers wonder how many millions Simon has had out of the club over these past six years for what....... on the pitch. Wonder if Parsonblue will join in the discussion as he seems to be heavily involved with the youths.

  15. I'm not one for some of the conspiracy stuff but I don't doubt for 1 minute we were paying ridiculous wages to anyone and everyone signed when the agents were 'sleeping at Brockhall'. It's in their interests to get the best deals possible for the players, and themselves. If there is no oversight from the people putting the money in and the CEO has also gone 'rogue' then there are no safeguards. The club is still paying out historical contracts. The Portuguesers could well be included in those. or they could have had straight pay-offs. Simon Vukevic was one that Shaw admitted to a couple of years ago, saying people would be astounded by how much he was on, or words to that effect. Cheston even mentions the historic contracts in this interview from last summer:- http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/14471425._We_need_to_live_within_our_financial_means___Q_A_with_Blackburn_Rovers_director_Mike_Cheston/ No mention of the 'outstanding candidate' to come.

  16. Wasn't it just implied that a certain agent on behalf of another was doing his best to get as many youth as possible on to their books, whatever the contracts might have been. By doing so yet again navigating around the conflict of interest issue ?

  17. What lesson have Venkys learnt ? And where's any evidence that they've done so ? Didn't bother reading the rest

  18. Effing hell Stuart, that has reminded me of the 5-0 loss to Coventry at Highfield Road, and staying at my sister's house when she was at uni there (the coldest house in the UK).

  19. Most roads keep leading back to the same place yet some still won't accept Rovers are just a vehicle for a certain set of agents underpinned by Indian sponsors using it for their own non football purposes and a huge wad of debt. Until it's released from this grasp it'll keep going in ever decreasing circles until there is nothing left to bleed because there is virtually no income.

  20. Sliding scale approach... SEM who are no more but existing in the forms of Kentaro AG and Wassermann Media Group with notable ex SEM agents Neil Fewnings and Paul Martin now working for WMG pulling the strings in the UK. Neil Fewnings pocketed 1 million after SEM went in bringing Murphy and Kazim Richards to the club http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2306573/Financial-picture-Blackburn-Venkys-revealed--Exclusive.html. Since then without the PL riches it's been a scaled down approach for the EX SEM men now WMG for Hope Akpan and Danny Guthrie, Elliott Ward & Wes Brown. Most players who were with SEM like Chris Long, Nick Powell, Kieran Gibbs, Nick Blackman, Brad Smith have moved over to WMG. Now Powell and Smith were certainly linked to BRFC under Coyle including another WMG player Giles Barnes, whilst Blackman played for BRFC. Another disconcerting fact is, why ex WMG chief ended up at Derby as a director and signed up no less than 10 WMG players. Every time a contract gets renewed, every time they play or get paid, 10% cut to the agency etc. The Simon Conning approach along with his old pals Neil Fewnings and Paul Martin works very similar. Get Nyambe and co in the team for the apperance money and re-negotiate contracts for 4-5 years skimming 10% off. Quite lucrative. If it don't happen for a while take a leaf out of Neil Fewnings book straight from the book of Jerome ... Partner with a fellow agent, step forward Marcus Olsson agent HCM who on the paperwork lodged with the FA partnered with "Neil Fewnings". Yep the very same WMG man with the very same WMG linked clubs as mentioned above.

  21. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/15149147.___There___s_been_a_big_emphasis_on_that______Charlie_Mulgrew_on_Blackburn_Rovers_becoming_more_organised_under_Tony_Mowbray/?ref=mac " It’s about boxing teams in and having a shape behind the ball when you have it is as important as when you don’t have it. There’s been a big emphasis on that and a lot of the goals earlier in the season were probably from not being in a good shape and I think the manager has sorted that and it’s something we need to continue with". Mulgrew with a pretty damning indictment of Coyle's coaching ability and lack of preparation. It's an absolute disgrace that that charlatan was allowed anywhere near our club, and even worse he was allowed to continue for so long. It makes me *@*$*@*%$@ angry what these clown have done to our club. Some days it just hits you in the gut. At least we now seem to have a proper football man in charge of the team.

  22. I don't know why you bother chaddy. Jal is a WUM and nothing more. I no longer get involved in any of his discussions. Makes this board far more enjoyable when you ignore certain posters that you believe are simply WUM.
