Foxxx
This is a question for the Aussie based members, do you think Matthew Leckie would be good enough for Rovers? His contract with Adelaide Utd ends this year, and im sure he will end up in europe next season. He will probably end up in the Dutch leagues like other young Aussies, but I wouldnt mind seeing him at Rovers.
Commondore
Sweden just crashed to a humiliating 1-4 loss against Holland in Amsterdam. The Dutch are an awesome force offensively, and a somewhat new Swedish team lacking our best defender Mellberg due to suspension got severely punished for mistakes from new full backs. Hopefully a lesson learned, and a different game in Stockholm next time.
JAL
Absolutely huge shock I would say. Theres no shock whatsoever in it if, the vastly overrated, overpriced, Masherano played for Barca.

92er
Is this the worst miss EVER? Not according to Bill on BBC Breakfast, who quoted Bremmer's cup final miss.
philipl
Is this the worst miss EVER? Was in a meeting in the City this morning with those distracting news screens dotted around. Have to admit when I saw that miss out of the corner of my eye I involuntarily said "What?" out loud totally disrupting proceedings. I was even more unpopular when I later saw the Royal Wedding announcement and kept quiet about it. All the other senior people present were women... USRoverME
from the bbc sport live match texts from tonight... 2038: HALF-TIME Republic of Ireland 1-1 Norway James Boylan's HT snap-shot: "A sparsely-populated Aviva Stadium is witness to a largely dull if evenly-matched affair, illuminated by pockets of neat football and, in particular, Morten Gamst Pedersen's classy free-kick goal." Seems like his Set piece goals are starting to flare back into life.
Eddie
Good day for our internationals. MGP's goal was very nice and Kalinic scored with a well placed header for Croatia.
Commondore
Can Ronaldo ever forgive Nani after this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaX8NTtkllw&feature=player_embedded
Amo
Haha! Someone back up the WAAAAAMBULANCE for Mr. Ronaldo. The goal should have stood anyway. Nani isn't interfering with play, as the ball was already in/going in before he even touched it. Stupid of him, anyway. Doaksie
The Matty Burrows goal for Glentoran is on the list for the Fifa Ballon d'or Puskas Award, which will pick the best goal of the year. I'd imagine he'll enjoy his night out at the awards sat beside fellow candidate Leo Messi.

Commondore
It surprises me that Inter wants rid of Santon, being Italian and one of very few own talents Inter have developed in the last years. I liked the look of Denis when he played for Napoli a few seasons back, he must have gotten worse if Udinese wants rid of him? In Napoli-form, he would certainly be better than anything we have up front with Allardyce's tactics.
