  1. Transfer Deadline Day

Heard Michael Kightly has grown a 6th finger. He used to be highly regarded. They spoke as if it was done, but haven't seen a price or confirmation yet..
  2. Transfer Deadline Day

Football league rules state that "A club can have a maximum of 4 players under 23 and a further 4 players over 23 on a Standard loan during any season."
  3. Transfer Deadline Day

Oh, I wish! The panel on my screen includes Trevor Morley
  4. Transfer Deadline Day

DJ Campbell is confirmed on Norwegian TV2's Deadline Day watch..
  5. Henning Berg - Rovers Manager

This other pundit's point was that it was a bad idea in case results didn't go too well. If he had brought in a bunch of Norwegians it could have been seen as a "Job for the boys" kind of thing. There are probably some who are good enough, but I suppose it all depends on which positions Henning decides we need to strengthen.
  6. Doha here I come

Thing is...why care one way or the other? There's nothing we can do about it. Either some Qatari people buy the club, which I doubt, or they don't. It does sound too insane to just make up, but if he did I hope he has his "fun". There are enough loonies on Twitter making stuff up all the time, not being anywhere near as creative as this.
  7. Doha here I come

From this Qatar tourism site you can read: Photography is not permitted near military sites, government facilities, the airport or the Emiri Diwan. Why is it so important to you that people don't believe BKR? Can't really see the mountain of evidence either, apart from this picture..
  8. Rochina's bad attitude

The commentator on Norwegian TV yesterday also mentioned some contractional issue for Rochina, in addition to Salgado. I was a bit surprised, since I had heard nothing about it previously.
  9. Blackburn v QPR

What's the chance of having your first born on the same day as Rovers actually won a Premier League game under Steve Kean? The odds must have been tremendously high Obviously didn't get to see the game, but checked the scores at half-time. A much needed boost to a very long birth, but I just knew I couldn't check the score again until the game was over, or I'd have those nerves as well. It really is sad when you know 3-0 isn't a safe lead. (Not that is was THAT close to be a draw, but still giving them 2 goals is just bad) Anyways, thanks to the guys for winning it. Even more a day to remember

  11. Let's do the last 5 games, then. Liverpool away - Rovers goal from a Pedersen corner. Man Utd away - Rovers goal from a Pedersen corner. Stoke home - Rovers goal from a Pedersen corner. Newcastle away - Rovers goal from a Pedersen corner. Fulham home - Rovers goal from Pedersen free kick. Not saying he doesn't make mistakes, some pretty silly ones, even, but don't say he adds nothing to our game. Scoring that often from corners isn't very common..

  15. Rovers v Bolton

It looks like we're playing with 9 men. The fitness level is appalling. Being outrun, outplayed and outfought all over the pitch. Combine that with no plan, or some kind of plan based on a fitness we don't have, and you're bound to lose.
