Blimey.

A previous opinion of yours was that he was a good manager. Well that's objectively not true when viewing his entire career. Saying the animosity is "disgusting" is just as silly. Perhaps the next time you ask for his autograph, mention to him the best way around the fans is not to blame them for his mistakes, in the press.

"He's certainly the best I've worked with as far as managers go. "It's easy for people to pass the buck but the reality is the group of players fell short, it's us that need to take responsibility. "We've let the gaffer down because everything he's done has been geared to pushing us forward and we haven't done that." Whoops, I accidentally posted Bradley Orr's comments on Steve Kean. Players talk a tremendous amount of bollocks about their incumbent bosses.

They look leaderless and confidence is at a low so I can't see anything other than a loss. I hope they realise it's a local derby and there's some pride at stake.

Gallagher isn't good enough in a promotion chasing team. So we needed a central midfielder and a striker as least, as well as some quality in depth. So that's why I don't think we have the team for it. The heartbreaking thing is we had forewarning that we'd need some strengthening in January, what with BBD having international duties and being a threadbare squad to begin with compared to other teams near the top. TM's answer was to loan a player that was good at assisting at a lesser team, but then constantly played them out of position - Hedges, who has barely played - and a 20 year old winger who hasn't played one game of professional football. I can't blame TM for the injury but pinning his promotion hopes on those signings was bonkers. Some would say he was planning for life next season in the championship, not a promotion push. And then to add insult to injury he tells us that we don't play with big number 9's who won't work the channels. He should be sacked for that alone. That decision has cost the club tens of millions. Mowbray is 58 and has been around the game since he was a kid, if it was ever in doubt he's a bit clueless then I think it's now been confirmed.

I don't think we have the personnel to be honest, regardless of the formation or tactics (though TM's don't help matters). The damage was done in Jan transfer window. We're missing players in key positions that should have been addressed years ago.

Asshole is the word that comes to my mind when I see a teamsheet or when he's putting his foot in his mouth.
-
It sounds like a lot of bullshit to me, talking about how he's set up infrastructure when we have over half a team ready to leave in the Summer. Whoever in charge is going to have a rebuilding job on their hands. You could say the majority of his 5 years has been a massive waste of time. It's clearly aimed at the owners for another deal. I can only imagine he's not exactly been inundated with offers. Thankfully it also sounds like his phoneline to the owners has been cut off if he's saying ask Waggot.
-
Don't worry about Paul, his flippant response to us cocking up the transfer window was to take the piss on deadline night whilst adding little of interest. He's probably still laughing now. Get beat tomorrow, he'll be in hysterics. Mowbray stays, someone better check on him because his sides may have split.

Why did they ever want to own a football club? And why do they still own a football club? Has anyone ever worked it out?
-
Well we should know.
-
The part where he wasn't a Burnley player wasn't even the embarassing bit.
-
Reminds me of someone ringing the club pretending to be an upset Steve Kean. I wish someone would release that.
-
Plastic means fake. It stems from any success in the pre-Venkys era and more people coming to games. Preston fans wouldn't know what that's like.
-
I think Mowbray pretty much admitted it was all him.
-
Nobenders, is it like 80+ years since they won anything at all of any note? What a deluded bunch they are. I forgot they even existed until the last few years, apart from that time we battered them 6-0 in the league cup.
-
Before the season began there was a theory being knocked around that Venkys had decided they weren't going to spend another penny on him but they didn't want to pay him compensation, so they were just seeing out his contract. It seemed like they just cut him off from spending. Maybe it was just a coincidence that he only had another season left on his contract when that happened. It's certainly no way to manage or run a club.
-
Some would say he had already fucked off at Christmas.
-
Rovers is still an attractive job. Mowbray has proven that as a lot of managers would have resigned before now. TM has stayed here because it's easy street. He gets to fanny about playing FM 2022 with a real life football team and get paid a bucketload for it, whilst being unsackable during some appalling runs. And if they offer him a new contract he'll sign it. And that's why if Venkys ever did see sense and appoint a decent manager they'd take the job. Paul Lambert after hearing "mutual consent" for the third time, will have gone home and pondered why he ever quit as BRFC manager. He had it made but didn't realise it. That's how I see it.
-
Nice to know that some of the fanbase don't have short memories. I remember some of the bizarre shit he served up in L1 when he was trying to nullify the opposition rather than let the players play.
-
They certainly shouldn't, but let's not paint a picture that TM is an angel in the middle of all of this.
-
I’ll never defend Venkys but it annoys me that some people use Venkys as a reason to let Mowbray off the hook. They don’t stick Gallagher at fullback. They probably don’t even know what a fullback is… Or even what a Gallagher is.

v Stoke City (h) - 18/4/22

So he blamed those same young players in the last match, took no responsibility, and today it's the fans fault. Not that I'm shocked, what an utter cretin he is. If there's anyone who deserves a massive reality check, it's Tony Mowbray. I can't wait till he's gone the lazy c*nt.
