  1. How many touches does any of our players need before shooting? May as well just tell the defender to stick a leg out.
  2. Because part of TM's gameplan was to hit long balls to a big ox of a striker so he could cross to two blokes who aren't strikers.
  3. Or a decent side that's now left with no decent strikers thanks to the manager.
  4. This is as frustrating as last seasons drivel. Rovers getting forward more but at the same time very poor. Too many passengers, too many players being asked to do things alien to them, not enough managerial nouse to change things. Absolutely dreadful going forward. As dreadful as anyone sane would imagine having two midfielders and Sam Gallagher upfront would be.
  5. I should scroll slower, at first glance I thought that was a jibe at the manager.
  6. Gallagher can't score goals so Gallagher can play right back 😩
  7. Or it's like I've said all along. He just needs a haircut.
  8. Mowbray will be here, but he won't have Nyambe, Lenihan, Rothwell and Brereton. I'm sure he'll continue down this road of bringing in attacking players better suited to midfield who don't score many, and he won't have Breretons goals to bail him out. If he's going to do it in January when we had a massive opportunity for automatic promotion I can't see him changing anything for a new season. Like now we'll have a decent defence, some good players, but no one to score and he'll be trying all sorts of nonsense to make it work. As for Dack, if his last stint is anything to go by he'll play him all wrong to fit in with whatever bizarre system he's concocted. For a football man he has a massive disrespect for goalscorers if he thinks anyone can do the job. More of the same, less goals.
  9. Why restrict it to wide forwards and wingers? He's now playing fullbacks up front, on the wrong side. Kaminski will get a turn before the end of the season.
  10. And he's a winger, not a striker. I'd be interested to know how many goals he'd scored from the wing for Tottenhams youth or under 23's team. Was he prolific?
  11. The same Mowbray that said he had three shortlists in terms of costs? He couldn’t bring in one striker? I can hear Victor Mildrew screaming his head off.
  12. Whoever told you he’s at Stoke on £3m+ wages is winding you up.
  13. And can someone tell him he’s a wide player who can’t score so TM will play him upfront.
  14. Anyone who thought Millwall had a decent game and they defended well must have been watching a different match. So one sided, gifted a point. They didn’t defend well, with better finishing they could have been battered.
  15. One things for sure, we won't sign a goalscorer.
  16. Fair enough, but all of those players have been trained as midfielders. Dolan's a midfielder too. Hedges has been played as a striker but is a winger. I think we've been kind of gaslit into believing some players are something they aren't. And I think TM and a lot of fans are expecting too much of a bunch of young lads who aren't goalscorers.
  17. The we don't play with "main strikers" is such a bizarre argument. If that's the case you buy midfielders who are good finishers. In January TM didn't sign either. If TM wanted to continue to play that way in the knowledge that BBD could be injured or on international duty, he should have brought in the correct personnel. I think that's a fair comment.
  18. We signed Markanday for £500,000 and Hedges for £200,000. Brown, Giles and Zeefuick won't be working for free.
  19. Any need for the behave pal? You can call a dog a cat if you want. It doesn't make it so.
  20. Brereton, but who are the other four forwards? We only have two (fit) at the club at the moment, as far as I'm aware.
