With an underfunded defence and injuries, we've got a season of it. -

Was always going to happen, we're terrible at the back. -

Pass about at the back for a few minutes, then a really crap pass to a midfielder leading to loss of possession. Plenty of options and take the difficult pass. -

I'm not a fan of his defending or his passing ability, but Happy Birthday indeed. -

Jim would be round your house with a flaming torch. I'd give it a fortnight. -

That's an amazing goal from Szmodics. -

I meant they get a free pass with some fans. -

It's bad transfer policy. I remember at the beginning of the season you were all lamenting the owners, Waggott and Broughton. Back then I called it. You'll forget all that and blame the only bloke with any ambition. Anyway I've no doubt JDT will walk soon, so enjoy the bargain basement yes man they bring in. Last one was Coyle. -

That's why we've needed to sign decent fullbacks in every window since we came up from L1. -

Amazing how the owners do with some too. -

Bring in Dalglish or Pep, nothing would change when you've got a set of tools in the boardroom pretending to run a club for a bunch of stubborn shits in India. -

Any other club wouldn't have such a shit transfer policy. Venkys out. Anything else is at best just papering over the cracks. -

Same reason we signed Clinton Mola. It doesn't take much to work it out. -

I'd be interested to know if JDT have the choice of signing Telalovic or no one? If so I'd be hard pressed to blame JDT for business like that. We know for a fact he asked for a striker, got O'Brien instead, then didn't even get him. And none of that was his choice. Do we blame him for that too? -

Poor in defence, poor in attack. I'm not expecting much. After boxing day I'd hope several players are replaced but who do you replace them with? More kids? Some motivation to put a shift in when there's no competition. -

Yes but the opposition get a free pass to come forward now the likes of Szmodics and Moran have burnt out, and Dolan and JRC are injured. Thats why since Mowbray was here it was stupid not to get a decent striker in when Armstrong left. -
Shockingly awful. I was hoping his earlier mistakes were due to him not being fully settled. But yesterday the penny finally dropped. We’ll drop a lot more points if we persist. And the alternative is Pears 😩

What do you expect when that line up isn’t far off our best eleven?!?! Did anyone seriously look at that line up and think we’d get a result? All I hope for when I see that are two things. Lots of luck. The owners to fuck off. -
He hasn’t lost the dressing room. He’s just got a mixture of inexperienced and mediocre to poor players. Also the few decent players we have are either fatigued, coming back from injury, or injured. Dolan was just hitting form when he got injured and JRC is a big loss. Having no decent strikers to bring in and a dodgy inexperienced keeper doesn’t help too.
-
Of all the individual errors, that was king clanger.
-
The keeper blamed the other players for that first goal too.
-
Fair enough but the point I was making is that the manager asked for certain players and they weren't signed. JDT made that clear in January and after the Summer window. So I don't agree with the previous posters assertion that these players must be being signed on JDT's "say so." Hirst and Morton were poor signings but at least they could be sent back. We're stuck with the likes of Ennis and Telly Savalas.
-
Especially when Waggott knew the taps were being turned off yet still allowed the appointment of Broughton and JDT (with the bullshit promise of a project with the aim of promotion), when what we clearly needed was a pragmatic old head. That said, a pragmatic old head would have told them to stick their job up their collective arses when he discovered he couldn't sign experience or any decent strikers and had to rely on loans and the academy to make up the numbers.

If anyone can stomach it, can someone watch the replay of the first goal and explain to me what the actual fuck Wahlstedt was doing for the first goal. A traffic cone could have done a better job. Am I unfair in saying he could have booted it as it seemed such a weak shot? I've seen defenders deliver more powerful passes back to the keeper. -
He can stick that new bus where the sun doesn't shine, and by the looks of it, it'd fit.
