  1. Speaking of facts, on social media if I say Fleck has had two leg breaks and fitness issues, it’s… “burn the heretic!!!!” ”Support the lads!” “Writing him off before he’s kicked a ball!!!” If being objective is hysterically jumped on, imagine if I stated my opinion that he probably won’t play very much for us. After 13 years, people on here just don’t believe in fairies and unicorns. I prefer that. Sometimes there’s hysteria in the opposite direction but not like the Stepford Wives on Facebook and Twitter.
  2. We all wanted experience, but with McFadzean and Fleck, one fears that Gregg is one step away from necromancy.
  3. We're fucking doomed aren't we. 😂 🫠
  4. I take it all back, already a legend before he's kicked a ball. 44 seconds in.
  5. Prior to that he had fitness problems too, been poor for 3 seasons according to SU fans. A legend in his day it seems, but what the hell have we signed?
  6. Sheffield United fans say he's been shite for 3 years. Immobile, injury prone, fitness problems and on top of that he re-broke his leg which never seemed to heal properly. And he's just come back from another injury. But hey, it's experience!
  7. This John Fleck? https://www.s24su.com/forum/threads/john-fleck.92645/
  8. Is it a good signing? Sheffield United fans aren't as kind!
  9. I was being facetious. He might well develop into a goal machine but there's no way we're paying the asking price at the end of his loan.
  10. Well he's got him for four months.
  11. Why are you all getting excited, it'll be some embryo from league fucking 4 of swaziland or wherever we could find another barrel to scrape.
  12. He's only 22 so there's room to develop him. For his next club.
  13. It was pre-season for him in the States, so he'll need to get fit first. Season starts for them at the end of the month (21st?)
  14. Of course not. It's a Mrs Desai Venky leasey special.
  15. Now both of them are off the wage bill. High fives in Pune.
  16. Another who is not ready. I wasn't as harsh on him as others were on his debut, but he was clearly slowing down play.
  17. They finally bring in a striker, then get rid of our best midfielder. They finally bring in experience, he's fucking 37. It'd be fantastic if he was that blunt.
  18. At least we've finally got a striker and hopefully it's third time lucky, but ffs... The pointless loanee kids and a 37 year old defender. Where's the full backs? Where's the pacey winger? But above all, where's the Adam Wharton replacement? "Blackburn Rovers are our baby."
  19. He'll have brought it himself, there's no way we've paid for it.
  20. We're good at getting the deals done to get them out aren't we.
  21. I was just about to say that if we've got £600k for Ennis and got him off the wage bill, that's McGuire paid for.
  22. He'd get crucified on here.
  23. Ayari the guy who failed at Coventry, the guy they called a "soft touch." I like Buckley and would love to see him crack on, but he's so inconsistent. He got his chance last season and impressed less than he did under Mowbray. What you're basically saying is a lad who failed at another club, and another lad who hasn't done so great under JDT here, is the replacement for our £20m wonderkid. It should but it clearly doesn't.
  24. No one replaced Adam Armstrong and that was Summer 2021. And we're still waiting for the American lad with an hour to go.
