Good stuff Oscar. Once BRISA stops being honest, it's finished. -

The one nearest the turnstiles was me, Oz. Wasn't you who bollocked me because there was a guy outside who's ticket wasn't being accepted, was it Oz? -

Was the guy who gave you a leaflet a good looking young man? If so, it wasn't me. If not, it could have been me. -

None of us know what BRISA's response would have been because we don't exist yet. It is a great question though. Without answering it directly, I would say that IMO, BRISA shouldn't fall into the trap of telling it's members what to do. Simple as that. Short answer, but that's how I see things. For the reasons you brought that point up, it's important that we get the media side of things right. Incidentally, what would your response have been, if you had been BRISA spokesperson? -
ROVERS fans will be given the chance to have their voices heard with the creation of the Blackburn Rovers Independent Supporters' Association. [bRISA} The club have given recognition to BRISA and will have regular, minuted meetings with BRISA. The new body will campaign on key issues affecting the club, such as declining attendances at Ewood Park, supporter representation within the club and transparency from the owners of Blackburn Rovers, particularly regarding the Jack Walker Trust - as well as matters concerning football in general. Neil Thornton, BRISA media spokesman, said: "We expect Rovers to seek our opinions and advice on issues which affect supporters. All Blackburn Rovers fans are invited to the free, public launch of BRISA at Blues Bar, Ewood Park on Thursday, October 27 at 7.30pm. The Lancashire evening telegraph are also reporting the story Here Fans can join BRISA at the official launch on Thursday 27th October, and online at www.roversisa.co.uk, or by enclosing a £5 cheque, payable to BRISA, and sent to: BRISA P O Box 381 Chorley Lancashire

Bruce is just trying to divert attention from the real facts of the game - Brum were dire. Pen or no pen, their performance got what it merited, absolutely nothing. Reminds me of the Hodgson days, always the refs fault. -

You back modding again SAR? First Theno on the other board, now Preston Blue. People will have suspicions about BRISA, it's human nature. But, the men and women involved up to now, are totally honest with themselves and each other. For this to work, BRISA must be open and honest in every respect. It must never have anything to hide - and I hope and believe it wont. I'd like to press home the point, that it isn't about a few people who will be BRISA and others that will be members. No-one wants a divide between the committee and the members, we will all be one. If someone can do a better job for BRISA than I can, then I'd happily stand aside. It's a way of bringing rovers fans together and giving them a voice. Nothing like that exists at present. It can have a role to play beyond Ewood Park. There are ISA organisations that join together to lobby the footballing authorities on a variety of topics that concern the fans of all clubs. That might be something that the members want to do. There is no limit to what an ISA can do, given the support of the fans. -
The thing for me, is that even though it was time for him to go, - I didn't and still don't dislike the guy. He gave everything for the club and never had anything but praise for the rovers staff and fans. He simply couldn't see what was happening. But I couldn't dislike him.

Firstly, the ff and BRISA will be pulling in the same direction, of that I'm in no doubt. The potential problem of secrecy, is a problem for the ff. BRISA doesn't see a need for secrecy at any time. It has always been the intention that meetings will be minuted and open for anyone to read. -

One other point about the conflict of interests possible problem. BRISA will be democratic, so even if Glenn thought there was no conflict of interest, but other members did, he could be voted off the committee. -

Well, Wednesdays game doesn't matter now. England have qualified for the world cup finals, due to Holland beating the Czechs 2-0. -

Got to disagree there USABlue. Crouch is a penalty box player and not over good at that. Outside the box he's no threat at all. Don't hold your breath for him turning on the half way line, advancing 20 yards and thumping it in the top corner. A nice touch here and there? Well if he didn't have that, he shouldn't be playing football anywhere.
