  1. Denley opening and Roy at No 4 leaves us looking weak up top in my opinion.
  2. Fabulously skilful footballer. remember you so well. RIP Mike.
  3. Anderson looks like a bad ‘un doesn’t he. We shouldn’t be surprised though because I reckon all Anderson’s in football are bad ‘uns. You have Ken, then you have Jerome. Myles was bloody useless as was Anders. out with the Andersons.
  4. Hang on, I’m there day three!
  5. Armstrong really is a poor player. Note I didn’t say striker. doesnt say much for Brereton if he can’t dislodge him.
  6. Bolton statement.... Discussions are ongoing with all parties and a further statement will be issued later this evening. https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2019/august/club-statement3/
  7. So sad for Bury. My old work mate and Bury player John Robinson would have been sad too.
  8. It’s being played at Durham, owing to O.T. Being used for the test match. https://cricket.lancashirecricket.co.uk/news/2019-news/lancashire-lightning-s-home-quarter-final-venue-confirmed/
  9. Absolutely fabulous win. One of the greatest finishes to a test match ever. reading the last days posts on here (including mine) is wonderful.
  10. Live updates on the future of Bury FC. https://www.burytimes.co.uk/sport/17856268.bury-fc-crisis-live-updates-d-day-shakers/
  11. Lancs announced on their website yesterday that they wouldn’t be renewing his contract. https://cricket.lancashirecricket.co.uk/news/2019-news/hameed-to-leave-lancashire/
  12. Okay, I’m going to try to give a bit of balance here. Only two Aussies got a score and one of them - Warner - played and missed dozens of times.
  13. 20/3 ashes being lost right in front of us.
  14. This is so difficult. Denley can’t lay bat on ball.
  15. Oops 10/2 thought he was a gonner then
  16. He frustrated Michael Holding as well OJ.
  17. Good to catch up on how the club was leased out to Anderson. It’s hard to believe those things happened. It’s also hard to believe our owners are now football savvy enough not to be mislead again.
  18. They are an appalling organisation Matty. Easy street they’re living on. They take responsibility for what exactly?
  19. It was frustrating watching yesterday. On, off, on off and the thing that frustrated me the most was Archer. At Lords we saw him bowling regularly at 90+ mph. Yesterday until the last session we were watching him bowling at 83/85 mph. I don’t think he got up and around 90 until that last session. It was particularly frustrating seeing that, because at that time the Aussies were steaming along at 130/2 and going at four an over. I know that nobody can bowl at 90/95 all the time, but it was either the game plan or he still hadn’t recovered from Lords. Now that’s a strange observation considering he finished with 6 wickets ?. The ball swung and moved off the wicket all day long. I expect there’ll still be movement today even in drier conditions so England won’t find it at all easy. Good bowling side the Aussies. Today is massive in the destiny of the ashes. If England get skittles out cheaply - 30 or 40 short of the Aussies score, the ashes are almost gone. England really need to get past the 300 mark.
  20. Possibly, but if Walton had made as little effort to get past Armstrong as their keeper did I would be up in arms about him. He was as soft as s***
