  1. Never said I expected him to walk and I wasn't referring to his previous comments. I was referring to the fact that he said what his aim was and he won't achieve that.
  2. What's really annoying me about him now, is the excuses he puts out after every game. It's never his fault. Even though he plays players out of position and seems incapable of motivating players prior to games and on many occasions at half time. Plus the most common excuses he gives impact on every team, not just us. He has had time and money to sort his team out, yet we all know the ongoing issues. He really needs to have some pride now and walk. He said the aim was the play offs. We are miles off. This is actually frustrating.
  3. This is a real and present danger now. Shocking we have ended up here really. The warning signs were there though. The last shit run, which started in that bizzare game against Bristol , should have done it. In the past, we got going again, it was different this time though. We never looked decent. Fluked a few and now on the death spiral of all death spirals For the love of God, sack Mowbray and give the new manager time!!! They could sack Mowbray a month after the season ends. Like nothing would surprise me with these clowns.
  4. This had that horrible out of our control feeling again. Just like it always does with Venkys. Absolite idiots. Have ruined huge amounts of football enjoyment for rovers fans over the years. More of it now as we watch teams around us make good appointments at the right time. We are just as likely to get this next one wrong I actually think we could fall into big trouble here. Venkys out Mowbray out
  5. Honestly though, could you see a promotion push under him?
  6. At a normal club, he would either be sacked now, or at least given the opportunity to "resign". This type of thing really shows the club up for the basket case it is with the loons from Pune at the helm.
  7. He stands out in very short bursts. If you saw his best moments of the season in a 2 minute YouTube highlight package, you would think he is Messi. The thing is , you would struggle to get much more than 2 minutes. That's why he is playing for us. If he was even 10-20% more consistent, he would be elsewere.
  8. He really isn't. One of the best 18 year old defenders I have seen. He will play PL and at a higher placed team than say , Tosin. I would take him over Lenihan right now.
  9. He has technique and a few of the dark arts up his sleeve. Puts him well ahead of the lumbering Gallagher..
  10. Then you watch the next 85 minutes and he's anonymous. Rothwell is absolutely miles away from being consistent enough to play PL.
  11. I decided not to pay the €12 and watch. Thanks Venkys.
  12. Going off what I have seen he is the worst of him and Branthwaite. Completely different playing for city, but he wont get in there long term if he defends as he had at championship level.
  13. 2 whose contracts expire in the summer, with a year extension, so that's next summer then? You worded it to make is sound worse. In fact the entire thing is worded to make the situation seem worse. I reckon you look at most starting 11 today's and the situation would be similar or worse. Most ,if not all, have loanees, most have players within the last 2 years of their contracts. We aren't unique in any of that. There is plenty to be critical of Mowbray about
  14. I think that's harsh. He has looked pretty good to me. Seems more a case where he does one thing wrong and all of a sudden the line on here is that he is awful. He will be a premier League player, not sure about the city lad though.
  15. What books and podcasts would these be? That's his way. Brought him as much success as anyone as a player. I think he has mellowed a bit anyway. I wouldn't say he's a hate ridden human either, most of its an act. I respect your view though also.
  16. I know the story, you said the agreed the deal in the boardroom. Anyways, more the issue there on Rovers side. Amateur not getting him to sign immediately. Their issues ran and run deeper than Keane. I wouldn't say he is the one responsible for destroying the club, as you said. They stayed up a good while after he left.
  17. I find the part about Waggott hard to believe. That would be career suicide being that difficult with your bosses. Would turn a lot off. I would be surprised if something wasn't going on behind the scenes though.
  18. I don't know if he is an actual fan 🙂 They are higher in the league, have a better squad and a bigger budget. I still don't see why he would leave there to come here. I would take him though.
  19. Plenty of good young lads though, with the right manager.....
  20. I don't see why the Barnsley manager wouldn't.......
  21. No reason the Reading manager would leave there to come here though, that I can see. Unfortunately.
  22. Get the Barnsley manager in. I would take him over Keane when I think about it.
  23. I honestly think if Waggott wanted the manager sacked, he could definitely facilitate it happening. So keeping Mowbray there now, is on him. At the end of the day he is the CEO. I just can't buy he gets no say.
