We have been linked with many centre halves in the same way as we have been linked with the City young lad. If we have been working on deals behind the scenes, I see no reason we couldn't get a deal done. About half the teams in the Championship haven't made a cash buy yet.

I don't think it is even an argument, he was extremely lucky, even more so than Bowyer and lucky for us too seeing as he got us up from League 1 in a relatively straight forward manner. Just a pity he couldn't keep us in the Championship. Was close.

Bowyer was lucky to get the job here, but I think his choices since have been poor. Maybe he didn't have other options, but he seems to have picked unstable club after unstable club.
