  1. Absolutely nobody is stressing me out. I'm just giving my opinion. I scroll past many opinions I don't like.
  2. If I don't come on for a while and then try to catch up in this thread, it's basically moan after moan from the same posters who post the same moans over and over again. There is no debating that. They are entitled to their opinions and I am entitles to mine. You are basically just after doing what you are critisicing me for doing...you do realise that
  3. Can this be pinned to the top of every page of the thread? The default reaction to moan about Mowbray and the club is so deeply entrenched in some that no matter what happens from here to the end of the window, people are going to complain. The player will either be too young, too old, have played for Burnley, be a loan, even though other clubs were laudid for their loans last season or we only signed them because no one else was interested. Although I'm sure I'll be told now that this isn't true, probably by a mod, even though it is true.
  4. Ya they look to be going full bargain basement. I have heard of Dunne, but he is pretty untested. Kevin Long would be a much better option, but he's close enough to the first team so would be difficult.
  5. What if Roy Keane kept his word.. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.balls.ie/amp/football/what-if-roy-keane-kept-his-word-and-signed-for-blackburn-rovers-413899
  6. Well we can always score more ? take your point though
  7. You said that at least once already. Why are you repeating yourself? Mods?
  8. Blackburn have lacked a centre forward who scores? Sorry I know we aren't meant to comment here but that is nonsense
  9. Just listened to an interview with Stephen Kenny there on Eamon Dunphys show. He said that all Ireland teams from under 15 up to under 21s have been instructed by Ruud Doctor(head of development at the FAI) to play either 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3, nothing else is permitted. Not sure about that. Leicester won the league with 4-4-2. Sheffield United got promoted with 3 at the back. It seems to be the way things are going though.
  10. Wrong place, wrong time for him here. The Kean rub would have meant if we appointed Zidane assistant manager and it would have been tainted.
  11. That clip could come back to haunt Tony. He was angry there, I don't think he was just saying what people wanted to hear. I think he belived it, at the time..... Unfortunately I suspect he has backtracked for sure. It will be a CB on loan. Although maybe above by defenders he was really referring to Raya. He just couldn't say that. Not saying he was right, just saying what I think.
  12. 100% and it is a worry. He was more important than Dack last season. We aren't the same team without him. I think it was the Sheffield United game I remember watching. They completely froze both out, but mostly by stopping Graham. It's testament to the work he does that other teams couldn't do it last season. I love DG. The way he uses his experience, strength and cunning to best defenders bigger, faster and stronger than him is so impressive. He's the main man and frankly we are very lucky to have him.
  13. I don't think he was up to last season. It seems to have dawned on him big time. He looks as fit as I have seen him in the videos from pre season. Is it enough to delay the inevitable slide for a year or two... Let's see
  14. Hence why we have signed Armstrong, Brereton and hopefully Gallagher. Just need one of them to step up and there is huge potential there. I think people are righting Graham off too soon. Che Adams scored 7 more goals last season and he got a move for 15 million plus add ons.
  15. Aging but still doing it. I wonder do Brighton fans constantly bring up Murray's age?
  16. Ya, but it was only a few minutes you watched so I don't know how you were so adamant before we signed him. We didn't see much more last season in fairness! The issue is his fee and the fact we could have spent it elsewhere. If we signed him on a free we would probably be saying he looks a talent. The fee is on Mowbray, so he needs to show why he spent it this season. No excuses. It's up to Brereton then.
  17. No doubt and I would reckon its next summer if we don't have a serious rattle at promotion. Could ven be bids in January hopefully. As in he is doing well and we reject them!
  18. That's pretty good. Take Graham out and all of the rest are under 25.
  19. That's around the 4th or 5th mention of Dack leaving in the past two days on here. It's not being mentioned anywhere else, which is surely a good sign considering his return last season?Probably suggests we ain't playing ball. Are some people disappointed by that? It would be a great moan....
  20. You saw all that from his clips on YouTube? OK. The Forrest fans weren't all happy he left, so maybe they saw something more. I agree that does look like what he is good at and I am a bit disappointed going off pictures in pre-season that he still looks pretty weedy. However, maybe we don't need a Graham replacement to be exactly like Graham.
  21. If we were to play you in a competitive game, both teams full strength it would be close I reckon. Could go either way. Although my gut feeling is ye would edge it due to having more of a winning mentality. I'm from Ireland myself. Not a Celtic fan although it's obligatory I favour them over Rangers. You must be happy enough with the Lennon appointment? I can't belive they didn't go for someone like Benitez when so close to 10 in a row.
