  1. Yes and have I said differently? Re read my post like a good lad. I think it went over your head. I will let you off seeing as I am crashing on your couch next season
  2. Tony "boom or bust" Mowbray Tony "famine or feast" Mowbray Tinker Tony Tony tombolo Am I missing any? We need a poll for best nickname!
  3. See that's the thing, some can't be objective. They critisice Mowbray when we concede but don't give him credit when we score. When we lose its his fault, when we win its in spite of him.
  4. Ya and really we don't want him scoring any more goals this season. He is the top scoring midfielder in the league already I believe. At the end of the season when the top scorers are shown on sky etc, his dips in form won't matter. He will be in the window big time
  5. Don't get you. We are on course for a top half finish. Wigan in the relegation zone.
  6. I actually don't begrudge Graham starting at all, him and Dack are in contention for top scorer, so you gotta let that play out
  7. Doubtful with the under 23s playing Monday, but who knows It all comes back to, who will Tony drop from this 18 to bring the youngsters in?
  8. If Nyambe is the better right back, he should be starting. I don't think anyone is shocked to be fair
  9. I didn't say you did say it. I just asked a question. Do you think Nyambe is a better right back?
  10. I think this team selection is worrying and highlights Mowbrays biggest weakness, being ruthless. He just doesn't seem to have it in him to leave someone like Smallwood out of the squad in place of Buckley. He doesn't want to hurt players feelings. Same reason why he let Downing go.
  11. I appreciate there are limited places in the squad, but if Smallwood, Rodwell, Nuttall to name just 3, aren't going to be here next year. Why are they on the bench? Harsh on Nyambe again, very harsh. Is Bennett going to be first choice right back next season? Tony.....tony, tony ,tony
  12. I suppose we will know in roughly 5 minutes what the story is
  13. Nice example Heartbreaking stuff that was. Not sure if ye know this, but FIFA paid the FAI €5 million to drop the issue. I don't know who is dodgier. It will probably need to be 1-3 guys in a room somewhere in the stadium looking at the footage who make the call so. Not sure this ref running over to look at the screen at the side of the pitch scenario is the way to go.
  14. Indeed and to add on your point, where does the "looking back" end? What if a team scores, but 60 seconds earlier at the beginning of the phase of play that led to the goal , there was a foul throw. Do they go back and check that? If not, why? I am for it in theory and I know it is early days, but this needs to be done right, with clear parameters.
  15. The QPR manager has gone full Mowbray bigging us up! https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17584501.qpr-expect-very-physical-game-against-experienced-rovers/
  16. 5-0 home win. Calling it now.
  17. You can see already though that players are going to the ref calling for VAR for every decision that goes against them. If refs aren't strong, this is just going to end up at a ridiculous point. I am just concerned because when you look at dissent for example, it doesn't happen in Rugby, but it does in football. If VAR goes down the same route, it will be very bad.
  18. No he wasn't. I only recall Travis being dropped for one game since replacing Smallwood
  19. Since Travis has come in, he has played far more than Smallwood, so I have no idea why you are saying he was dropped.
