  1. We spoke the other day about the lack of proof reading in the LT. It's actually ridiculous, most articles have at least one mistake, if not more. Todays one https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17569214.mowbray-sets-rovers-a-points-target-for-final-five-games/ “Can we got 10 points from our final five games? It would be a pretty good achievement if we can. “If we don’t then it gives us something to build on. I have talked for a long time about this summer being an important one for us to strengthen and improve and make the squad more competitive for next year where we will strive to do better.”
  2. He should play the same team, but I really don't know if he will. I think we will win this. Forrest are under massive pressure. They lose this and their slim play-off hopes are dead. They will put it up to us though, I am sure O'Neill and Keane will be snarling on the side line.
  3. My god I ground so much to beat those 2 weapons in the original. I actually came up with a plan to have all characters limit breaks kick in at the start of the fights. I haven't seen this tip given anywhere else, so it probably just shows how sad I am. I used to find the wolf enemies outside Midgar. Do a spell to shrink them,at which point they do 1 damage point. I would then let them hit my character until the got to 7677 Hit points. I would then kill them. so I would enter the weapon fights with all characters on 7677 Hit points and immediately take 3 potions, bumping my characters up to 7777 Hitpoints. So boom, hit them with that and then immediately into Knights of the round. At the moment in my first play through in probably 20 years, I am trying to infiltrate don Corleones mansion. I can't wait to see how they handle this in the remake.
  4. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/04/11/psg-owners-may-buy-championship-club-french-media-make-links/ Pity it's not us
  5. The "Chaddy" reply A nice nod to the chadster. Whatever happened that guy?
  6. There is absolutely no chance they will dump him if they go up.
  7. Bennett bigging Jack Grealish up on twitter. Shared his goal from last night with the flame emoji and wrote "ridiculous player" I find this odd. Bennett playing the nice guy stuff with the fans is one thing, but opposition players? I just find it strange and unnecessary. He's a professional player, not a 12 year old child. Does he want a Grealish poster from Match magazine for his bedroom wall?
  8. I don't see why Mcgoldrick would leave Sheffield United to join us. Good player though. Excellent target man.
  9. Ajax are a joy to watch. One of the most one sided draws I ever witnessed last night
  10. He has. You could even notice it on the message board since he took over.
  11. Play the role better. So that leads to the point that he needs to change "the role" and what he expects our midfielders to do.
  12. No, that's a silly comparison. We discuss that in match threads usually, where it is relevant to the game. Currently we have a ;Tony Mowbray thread, a next manager thread and a stay or go Mowbray thread, to name 3 off the top off my head. Too many threads discussing the same thing. Especially considering that he isn't going anywhere. How much is there to discuss after saying you want him gone and how many times will posters repeat themselves over the summer in those threads?
  13. He isn't going anywhere , so really, is there anything to be gained by leaving this thread open all summer? There is a Tony Mowbray thread to discuss what he says. This is just going to turn into an absolute moanfest over the summer. Yes, of course I don't have to enter, but ultimately it's a waste of everyone's time and energy.
  14. Indeed and if we don't move them on AND we do bring in the players Mowbray promises, who will be the ones to lose out next year? Yep, the under 23s.
  15. Preston fans are happy if Neil leaves? Deluded
  16. Some crazy scorelines in the championship. We are lucky we got those 3 points last night or things could be getting very tense
  17. Two of my mates support villa and they are pretty sure he will be on his way if they don't go up. Even if they don't need the money because of selling land near the ground, he himself will probably want to play in the premier league. I think this season was him doing villa a bit of a turn
  18. Definitely, but will he be able to help himself?
  19. I think the same. Stevie Wonder could see that Reed should have been in the middle and Rothwell should be in the team, along with Dack. Mowbray has been proven wrong , in fact I suspect he has known this for a while, but was too stubborn to admit it. Going off the players reactions after the goal yesterday, everyone knows Rothwell should have been playing, except Mowbray. I put our awful run down to the players being unhappy with Mowbrays bizzare selections and blind loyalty to his favourites.
  20. Ya, who doesn't hate god damn hard working midfielders who get all around the pitch. Obviously Smallwood and Evans pitching up in the centre circle is far better.
  21. Very frustrating to read. Would Smallwood "play his position" better than Xavi in Mowbrays eyes? It seems Mowbray has his rigid ideas. It's the reason why another manager would get more from this squad in my opinion.
  22. I reckon Villa will be in for him if they don't go up and have to sell Grealish. It will be a top Championship club . Premier league isn't happening for him this summer, absolutely not.
  23. Would it be any less likely to work than the succession of muppets we had here before Mowbray?
  24. You are probably right, but if we are to sign 3-4 players and promote some promising youngsters, then some of the senior players will need to leave. I'd say those that will definitely leave are Gladwin- Free Samuel-loan After that then it's hard to see who else will leave. Mulgrew and Williams probably should ,but they have signed new deals and I don't see a huge amount of interest, maybe MLS for Mulgrew. Smallwood might go on loan too. I honestly think the outs this summer will show our intentions as much as the ins
