  1. Ya, all true and if ever there was a bunch of players I wouldn't bet on to "fight for their lives", it's this bunch Hopefully we scrounge 4 points from somewhere, fast. Where that would leave us is, quite amazingly, with less points than the Coyle season and more goals conceded.
  2. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17556246.how-the-rovers-players-rated-in-stoke-city-defeat/ Actual quote from the article-talk about a Freudian slip Corry Evans 5 Restored to the side after injury, but needed to play with a little more injury. Played higher up the pitch in the second half, but too many stray passes
  3. Rotherham bet Forrest at the weekend, so I wouldn't put it past them. I have a feeling we are going to drop right into this and end up relying on others doing us favors
  4. For those who said we had nothing to worry about when I said I was very concerned about the possibility of relegation a few weeks back, if we lose to Derby and Rotherham win their game, we will be 5 points off relegation with 5 games to go.
  5. No I wouldn't sell him either and to be honest I can't see anyone bidding more than 8-10 million now
  6. Doesn't change the fact that outside of that he hasn't hit the heights we would have all expected.
  7. I think Dack was worth more at the start of the season, than now. If you look at his goals and assists you would say he had a decent season. I don't think he had a good season at all personally. Nowhere near what he is capable of. You can't take the goals away, but they flatter him. People please don't come at me with the Rhodes comparison, because I would expect more all round play from Dack and also Rhodes never really had a dry patch. Dack also pretty much plays as a striker
  8. Who knows who we could end up with if Mowbray left. Nobody saw him coming in. I just know it wouldn't be someone who would universally excite the fans. Just in hindsight I'm starting to think that we are having the usual issues behind the scenes, but Mowbray is covering them up with talk of "nice people" etc. Last summer and January were absolute transfer disasters if we are being honest. It's either that or Mowbray is just clueless in his dealings. Either way, it's not a good look. I won't be able to listen to excuses this summer when these early transfers he says he wants just don't happen. If they don't and its the usual scramble, I am 100% sure we will be involved in a relegation battle.
  9. The problem in January was he weakened without even using the loan market. Baffling stuff
  10. More than likely and 100% he won't get us promoted. Absolutely no way
  11. Jesus, I was more thinking about those who shouldn't be here, but you are right. We could end up losing those two before Smallwood or Williams. Scary
  12. Indeed, but I don't think we would recover from that
  13. But you never know. If the next two results go against us and we are in real touching distance do you see us having the stomach to do enough?
  14. Serious question How many players will leave this summer from today's starting 11? Name 2
  15. That's a very good point, taking off Nyambe so that Brereton can come on instead of just making a straight swap for Bennett is mad.
  16. He can barely put his shoes on going off his debut which mostly consisted of lace tieing!
  17. Stuart, I don't know. I have a bad feeling. We should be OK, but if we lose our next 2, then we are in a position where if other teams pull off results, we could be the ones left stuck in something we have absolutely no stomach for. I mean Birmingham bet Leeds today and Rotherham bet forest. What's to say there won't be more results like that?
  18. Exactly. Driving off before the game. Come on now Tony, pull the other one, there are bells on it. Evwn if what Mowbray said about the injury is true, players don't just leave before the game. Does Tony think fans are stupid?
  19. I can't help but think that if Mowbray played a team today with Buckley Travis and possibly even Butterworth,it would have tied nicely in with the initiative where they gave out over 2000 tickets to the youngsters . It would have been like a new beginning, focusing on youth and the future. Instead he plays the most uninspiring line up we have played Ina long time and that's saying something. Shows a huge lack of awareness and sensitivity to the absolutely huge importance of getting new fans in. I don't think I'll even watch us on ifollow again. I can't be looking at Williams, Bennet and smallwood, but besides that it's the complete lack of a clear style. I would say our style is tidy around the middle, but toothless in both final thirds. Not a good style
  20. Ya, that's a lie. He wouldn't have just left if that was the case. Stop lying Tony
  21. Put simply what went on with Dack would not have happened under Mick Mcarthy or Warnock.
  22. I'm usually reasonable but I can't stop getting the feeling we are going to be closer to relegation than some think. QPR, Rotherham and in particular Wigan may be our saving graces. I just wonder if Wigan were doing well would more people be critical of Mowbray. Things seem to have moved to "well Rotherham and wigan are doing worse" as if this somehow makes this run we are on not significant. Can anyone remember a manager go on a run like this and not get sacked? I can't to be honest.
  23. It seems the LT wouldn't ask Mowbray if he is under pressure if we lost 10-0 to Bolton.
  24. That's very surprising. At the start of the season I thought fans were not picking and overly critical considering we were doing well. The collapse since January is inexcusable. We don't look like winning a game
  25. Criminal line up today. He has frozen Rodwell out and is pricking around with Rothwell and Travis. Smallwood back in out of nowhere. Graham wheeled out again. 7 million striker still goalless. No discernable tactics. Dack had left the building. No sign of Chapman. No signings in January. Mulgrew crocked again. The curse of manager of the month had been a strong one. Derby will do us again next game. How far off relegation will we be then? Get a manager lined up quick
