  1. We spent more than Norwich and Sheff Utd last season on transfers. If you are well-managed 'unpredictability' doesn't come into it.
  2. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17602858.norwich-city-2-blackburn-rovers-1-match-verdict/?action=success#comments-feedback-anchor Norwich have gone from mid-table to top spot after spending only £6m in the summer. Lots of pressure on Mowbray to get his recruitment right this summer or I'd imagine he'll be out on his ear come October/November if the results are bad.
  3. Lots of dyed-in-the-wool Rovers fans have stopped going over the last 10 years for one reason or another. I know a few. Everyone has a tipping point.
  4. That's going nothing to do with the point I made.
  5. Can I report this WUMMING please. A non ST holder laughing in the face of the lifeblood of the club. Despicable.
  6. It only benefits non ST holders like you. ST holders are having their prices put up apparently. Can you see the difference or is it a bit too much for you?
  7. You're not a mod. So you don't get a ST?
  8. There's no correlation between ST income and transfer spends. If there was we wouldn't have spent £7m on a sub. And if it was a business it would be bust. It's not a business, it's a play thing of the rich. You've swallowed the propoganda though it seems, the propoganda that justifies ever increasing prices. How much is your Season Ticket?
  9. Pick your games chaps. The vast majority are hoofball shite anyway.
  10. How much do you pay for your Season Ticket?
  11. I doubt it will be Forest ?
  12. Er... The flex if you please.
  13. He forgot it was a late kick off and has been in the pub all afternoon
  14. It's a tactic we often employ. He even admitted last season we were a 'transition' team i.e. counter-attacking. It's no change at all, it's what he's always done. On occasion we press high against the good footballing teams at Ewood but it's not his normal tactic, especially away from home.
  15. That's often the tactic, invite pressure and then try and hit teams on the break. Which is fine when you're organised and can defend.
  16. Because Tony sets out to contain and not lose the game. He's a cautious coach. Those same Norwich players wouldn't be going up as Champions with Mowbray in charge.
  17. Godfrey played for Shrewsbury all last season. Hopefully we can upset him again. Stiepermann has been absolute quality every time I've seen him (twice!)
  18. I saw it. If it's true you're either a wizard, a stalker or Tony Mowbray.
  19. Teams news not out yet. Did you mess up?!!!
  20. Rovers looking for a fifth win in a row at Carrow Road - LT. Piece of piss. Naarwich 1 v Rovers 3
  21. Do we not already have a 18-21 season ticket? We did for half season tickets in Jan. I don't think we can hammer the club for things they already do! The issue is about affordability and increasing the cheap ticket age to 23 or 25 like Forest do. Bpools 18-21 ST aren't that much cheaper than the full price - £199 versus the full price of £269. Forests are £135 anywhere in the ground for 18-23 age bracket. With the acknowledgement by the club at the fans forum that ST numbers for young adults are dropping at Ewood you'd hope we go the Forest way. Those people are the future of the club. Research has shown that 18-25 is the crucial age in determining if someone will carry on following their team. The old adage of getting them hooked as kids and they will be fans for life isn't actually true.
  22. Journalists will print any old shite these days. There's just no quality control.
