  1. Wow! You've more front than Blackpool. You said the price was wrong now you're saying you actually meant the payment plan and that the price is expensive. And I'm the moron ?
  2. I'm not used to it, sorry☺️
  3. Are you Mani? I'll try again. You stated you didn't believe the price was £7m. I provided you with the quotes from Mogga accepting of the price. I even explained that Sharpe has said it will actually be more than £7m, as did the Forest journo. You've now turned into a discussion that I wasn't having. I didn't pass comment on how I expect the price to reflect the performance of the player. Once again, Donald, you have gone all fake news on my hot ass. It's eternally disappointing you have to resort to this.
  4. Who are you 'so what-ing' and why? If you don't understand why the article was quoted scroll up the page and follow the discussion.
  5. I quoted the relevant bit, the next line had nothing to do with you fake news-ing the price.
  6. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2018/august/mowbrays-delight-at-brereton-deal/ "We had the money to spend and when you've got it, let's spend it....Let's forget about the price now and concentrate on the player" R Sharpe confirmed it is £7m guaranteed PLUS add-ons...as did the Forest journo. Don't make me bring out the Trump GIF....
  7. What's that got to do with Gallagher?
  8. Or draw at home to Millwall, Reading, Rotherham etc
  9. Has he? What did he say? "I'll spend £7m on him and then never play him because he isn't up to it"?
  10. You keep moving the goalposts. You said he couldn't jump. This was proved inaccurate. You then said he couldn't jump with players around him. Again, not true. Now it's all about the flick-ons? FFS as RVBlue would say.
  11. Even Suffolk has google.
  12. Dreadful manager. Good mates with Pep though. He once went to watch his Bayern team train. Not sure if he mentioned it??
  13. she'd be an 8/10 poster.
  14. Interesting post from @SergeiTheMeerKat the other day about being as high as possible in the table come January so that we can attract better players. We all want to see us get to 50pts ASAP but I somehow doubt that Venky's will see survival as the summit of their ambitions, even for this season. It's not for nothing that Mogga has said he has been trying to educate Venky's into seeing this as a long term project. They will want promotion ASAP, not just 50pts. The problem for Mogga is that when you spend £10m net and get very little return then questions will at some point be asked by the owners...especially if we're at the wrong end of the table.
  15. ?Calm down. The videos prove he wasn't a poor header. You are talking rubbish. That is all.
  16. He's scored 3 in his 5 and a half years at Rovers. No idea when the last one was.
  17. As @tomphil pointed out, Football has changed. Smallwood and Evans aren't there to create like CM's were when we had the likes of Tugay or Sherwood playing for us. They are just stoppers, there to protect the defence and give it to our more creative players when they win it back. Trouble is we don't have any creative players for them to give it to apart from Dack, or at least not ones Mogga trusts enough to play. I'm not sure it's been mentioned but a quick winger who can beat a man or two may help? Interesting though that Evans has been given license to get in the box more in the last two games. Maybe Mogga is trying to slowly change and get more players in the box.
  18. That's true, the obsession with controlling the possession or hitting teams on the counter means everybody has dropped 20 yards. two wingers and two strikers were the glory days. Now it's a packed midfield, no wingers and 1 striker if you're lucky! And they've tripled the prices. B'stards?
  19. I made the same point further up the thread.
  20. I'm not sure Mercer has that much influence at Ewood.
  21. Mahon, Dunny, and Flitty in the midfield three that Souness liked iirc. Add Hignett, Berkovic and Duff and we were a bit spoilt for choice! Always cracks me up when people say we should have got promoted with Willowe in the engine room ?
  22. Gallagher is 6' 4". I'm pretty sure when can play it a bit higher than his feet.
  23. He only started him once (Pompey at home) even when he was fit. He said in the summer if we signed him again he'd be on the bench. The potential Freeman signing was the interesting one, he's not really a winger but more the Alan Mahon type (oh for another Mahon!). Mowbray seems to want a wide midfielder rather than an out-an-out winger. Celina fits that mould too.
  24. He played Gally out wide when he was here on quite a few occasions. That goal he scored against Bristol City in the video above he was playing left wing. At Brentford he played right wing. He's a 'wide-forward' but what he does have in his favour is that he'd be perfect for the long diagonal ball we fire at DG 20 times a game. It would mean DG could stay central.
