Are you going to take the club up on their offer and will you buy a half S/T on the back of it?
-
You've offered no reasoning beyond 'the signings are ace because we're overachieving'. Saying the signings are 9 out of 10 without backing it up is nonsense. Whether we are actually overachieving is debateable considering the team is full of players who have played at Championship level before. Also, if we are 'overachieving' it is without the majority of Mogga's transfers being in the team. Hoisted by your own petard I'm afraid ??

Nonsense. Nonsense.

There's Smallwood too but he doesn't seem to be rated anymore. Anyway, after 3 transfer windows and £10m+ spent, only having 3 in the 1st team is a sad indictment on how many Mogga has got wrong. The fact he's already had to pay two off and he's only been here 18 months speaks volumes. There are extenuating circumstances of course (being played out of position etc) but, put simply, the majority of his signings have underwhelmed. https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/west-brom-albion-tony-mowbray-12793111 Here are the signings he made at WBA. Pretty underwhelming. I don't think the transfer market is Mowbray's strength.
-
You don't though, that's your problem. I see, so yours is an 'opinion' but others doing the same thing are 'moaning'. Double standards par excellence. If people don't want to read the 'moaning' they don't have to. You don't need to speak for them. Anyway, try this statement so I know which category I fall into:- I think Mowbray is poor in the transfer market. I think Mowbray is excellent at man-management and getting the players to work as hard for the badge as anyone I can remember. If you want to start a thread on the latter half of that statement then I'll come and agree with you. You won't though because you're as 'negative' as everybody else and you'll stay in the transfer thread like you always do pretending you have some 'insight' and that the rest of us are just not educated enough in the ways of the beautiful game to understand what is going on.

Championship 2018-19

You really shouldn't be laughing at things like that. We'd need to order more laughing emoji's if people did the same to you. -
Mogga had me at 'he can run without it'. A rare talent. He sounds like the best player we've got, and at £7m he should be.
-
-
...and by the same token it doesn't justify his decision to spend £7m on someone who isn't better than the old guard.
-
He didn't have eight, Donald, he had 5, of which at least one was spent under an embargo. He also spent a lot less than Mowbray has spent in the three windows he's had. Apart from that, good post
-
Why sign players he doesn't trust to play? Why spend £7m on a player he doesn't think is ready? Very poor recruitment considering how much he's spent and how few of those players are in the 1st team.
-
The most expensive groundsman (assistant) in football history. The personalised front bumper was apparently a deal-breaker for Ben and his agent and was the reason we only got him on loan initially. Looks like everything will go through now in January. Phew!
-
Big difference. Looks like the manager who sold him rated him more than the manager who's spending £7m on him. Looks like Mogga has overreacted to BB's perceived lack of upper body strength.
-
If it wasn't for Dack Mowbray wouldn't even have got a 5 for his recruitment.
-
On the Dack thing did someone not post in the summer that a journo (or Nixon) had said if we are in with a shout of the play-offs then Dack stays, if not he's sold?
-
When you overachieve for as long as us it's not overachieving, it's just achieving. Our achievements have gone on for 3 centuries.
-
Poor comparison. I bet nobody has ever paid £7m for a player in the Championship who they had no intention of going straight in the 1st team, let alone a club that has just come up from League 1 and is £140m in debt.
-
Yup, pretty much. You seem to have invented the overreaction too. Good work ??
-
What people? Do you mean you?

Hang on a goddamn minute!! You can't just quote me when it suits you. I'm on ignore remember!! Honestly, you treat me like a cheap whore. And I am not cheap!! Unbelievable!
-
Of course fans were excited. PW was a talent. Trouble is as soon as he turned up it was obvious his legs had gone and he couldn't hack League 1. I'd call that 'Manager Madness' for signing him when he was past it. Unless the fans scouted him?
-
It isn't, Donald, but that's not what you originally said. Glad you've finally accepted that. ?
-
Sigh. You said you didn't believe the price. It wasn't that long ago really. 10 minutes? Maybe you've forgot. It must be hard keeping up with your own fakery.
