  1. You said he couldn't jump, now it's he can't jump with players around him. See the next video I posted. He's jumping head and shoulders above defenders in that one. Maybe you were thinking of someone else?
  2. Quite a few headed goals from SG here playing for Rovers. The boy can jump.
  3. I don't think that is at all accurate. He 's a big unit who is good in the air from what I remember. This wasn't a bad header for a lad who can't jump:-
  4. Patrick Bauer is back fit and playing for Charlton. You'd think that deal would be revived considering he only has 6 months left on his contract and he's already said he won't sign another.
  5. I thought i'd set one up there. It could have gone much worse?
  6. All I Want For Christmas is Width.
  7. It does appear so. Anyway, do you have the genuine inside scoop from Rovers?
  8. You said Nicko is clueless then agreed with him. Everyone knows he is 'defo on the radar'.
  9. You mentioned Gally 8 hours ago. Nixon wakes up in his pit of grief and shoves it on twitter. The tail is wagging the dog.
  10. He chose to leave unfortunately. Mowbray was desperate for him to stay apparently. He'd be a regular now for the team he supports you'd have thought. Although knowing Mogga and wingers maybe not... I watched the Quest highlights (Party central round my gaff on a Saturday night) and he was sending in some terrific corners and free-kicks for Brum. Proverbial wand of a left foot.
  11. The Ginge Ninj and Sam Gallagher would be two terrific signings in January. Soton are looking to offload players and they both fit the profile of talented young lads who could potentially be worth a lot more in the future. I really rate Gallagher, he's quick and strong and would be ideal competition for DG as the lone front man. Mogga played him out wide too last time he was here so he really does fit the profile?
  12. We've only got 1 that Mogga trusts and you think his legs have gone. Of course we need another. If 33 year old DG gets injured we would be half the team we are now, unless you've changed your mind on the type of player BB is? You said he wasn't a target man, and the way we play is totally reliant on a target man.
  13. Rich Sharpe referencing our lack of width in his Reed comments. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/17286068.middlesbrough-1-blackburn-rovers-1-player-ratings/?ref=mac
  14. You just saw into the future, that's all. Good atmosphere at the Riverside today?
  15. 6 pts off the play offs if Sheff Utd win their game in hand. It would have been 3 if we'd held on against 10 men. Frustrating, but mid-table is probably about where we are as a team which is a good effort.
  16. Cairney's career kicked on under Bowyer. He was a regular here and got player of the season in his first season.
  17. ...or from the LT: Downing misses his clearance and Assombalonga is in, but after lifting it over the goalkeeper, the defender gets back to clear
  18. AA showing why he is nowhere near an 8/10 player
  19. It's games like these that show we are short of being a top 6 team.
  20. I'd say his aerial ability is his biggest asset. He heads a lot of balls away. It was his distribution that was always stood out as being poor but after last weeks stride out from defence and defence-splitting pass he's now a cross between Jack Charlton and Beckenbauer.
  21. tut tut, playing the man and not the ball. Attributes? They are contributing very little. If they have attributes why is the manager not utilising them?
  22. The topic is transfer window - success or failure. Of course the manager is being judged. He signed them …. and now plays them out of position.
