  1. He is looking a real handful today. So is Gallagher in fairness.
  2. Jesus Christ - two nil up and the World's biggest man comes on!
  3. Soft red. I hope we've learnt our lesson - go for them!
  4. Easy win for Sheffield. Mistakes a plenty, Bell to have a mare, Bennett to give away a penalty. Hope I'm wrong.
  5. I agree. Unfortunately, he doesn't persevere with anything other than Bennett at RB and Gallagher on the wing. Even in games we start really well and concede against the run of play, rather than carrying on as we were and believing in ourselves, everything changes. It's so infuriating.
  6. We effectively play with two at the back when Bennett and Bell are in the same back four - so one more is a bonus.
  7. He's going to go 3 at the back again. He's like a moth to a hot light. Never learns from his failures. He should have built a solid back four years ago but he has just been collecting square pegs and nice boys.
  8. Kean started managing this club nearly ten years ago, Berg seven. Bilic was managing in the Premier League on those wages - not sure what the relevance of wanting him back then has to do with anything btw. Coyle - again, I can't answer your questions as nobody knows. What I do know is Twitter rumour doesn't equate facts but the more it is spun and repeated, people seem to absorb it as gospel. Re your little dig, I have heard of Pardew's team, but as I clearly state - nobody cares about them. Sticking to facts, he won't be on massive wages there because they are a ten-bob Dutch outfit who seemingly need Ben Brereton. That says it all really. I'm pretty sure he'd rather have got the call off us and the wage we offer - regardless of some of our super supporters trying to run us down.
  9. Chaddy, how on Earth would you know what wages we pay and what those individuals request? Genuinely no offence, but simply put - you don't have the foggiest. Pearson was cast off and on the scrap heap, I doubt he was in a very strong negotiating position. Pardew's stock also tumbled- hence why he is managing a team that nobody has really heard of or cares for.
  10. Again, steeped in irony that they provided you with your only man for the job. Your lack of factual information and general depth to your opinions is possibly the most tragic thing I've read on here, for quite some time.
  11. Me neither - at the time. Now, I think he'd be a decent solution for Graham and would offer more than the two we've wasted money on. At the right price of course.
  12. Haha, true story - that was my wife. Her other pearls of wisdom are: "They always go in the lead and then let the other team score, don't they?" "Why don't they go forwards?" "God, he falls over easily doesn't he?" - re Gallagher
  13. How does his goals to games ratio compare to Gallagher and Brereton combined?
  14. I just don't think you understand. He's a Scottish man, who's better than Zidane...
  15. More nonsense. They aren't fantasy. We are Blackburn Rovers - not Tranmere Rovers. Plenty of people would be proud to manage our club. The owners 'toxic reputation' is very old hat. They are patient as hell, and proved it over the past three years with the messiah. They also get their hands in their pockets...again, proven with Saint Tony.
  16. Do you think Jack Walker would sack him? Or John Williams under the trust? Me personally, I'd lock the big gates and release the hounds on him.
  17. That's a very flawed argument, most of it has been dealt with in countless posts by countless posters. Doing nothing certainly isn't the answer. There are an abundance of managers who could coach this team the basics and play players to their strengths. I bet a lot will be a damn site cheaper too. Regardless of whether TM goes or stays, the team will have to be patched up again this summer with so many out of contract. I'd trust someone like Jokanovic (if that's how you spell it) who has excellent form in the loan market. Warnock would get the fire in their bellies burning. Currently, we daren't even get people through the door with a bit of personality, drive, or a pair of ripped jeans - because our weak manager can't handle them. Just as a recap, we've previously suggested; Pearson Bilic Pardew Warburton Rowett ...most seem to be doing well.
  18. Can you now see the haste in terms of why certain posters on here don't want to afford the manager any more time or money? As previously mentioned, those shoddy signings have brought this issue to the door and poor results mean it can't go anywhere for the foreseeable. We need someone to get better out of this squad and make better dealings in the transfer market.
  19. Has it been confirmed what the extent of his injuries are?
  20. Graham is head and shoulders the best finisher but his legs look to have pretty much gone.
  21. I would. 100% He is limited but absolutely nobody is attacking the 6yard box. He would. His heading is light years better than Gallagher's too. Leave running the channels for an out of position Gally ?
  22. Every game we stick seems like a missed opportunity. You see it similarly to myself, it is unsustainable. That's what the rush is. Too many see right past that 20m the Venkys put in and don't acknowledge what it is. It is thr 20m more than what we make as a business - yet many make out we are some small team, playing at our proper level. We aren't - hence those massive running costs. We are still paying through the nose for transfers, wages and facilities and it can't go on for long. It won't go on for long and then certain fans will finally get where we are coming from. Currently, they are jubilant that Tony won't take us down...he won't take us up and solve our financial crisis either.
  23. We should have signed Pardew and let him get the best out of our strikers here.
  24. Only one to get good jobs?? Amongst a host of other roles, Black went to Villa, Berg managed Legia Warsaw, Appleton assistant at Leicester...but let's not let facts get in the way of an argument.
  25. We certainly didn't do too well against the bigger teams but he had us 10th and 6th (when sacked). Kean was in charge and we won against Liverpool and Man Utd. but escaped by the skin of our teeth and then relegated. Mowbray on the other hand sets us up (with varying degrees of luck/failure) to defend against Luton, Charlton and Barnsley etc. at home and to this day, it's only the snake that's had us above 7th. Goes to show how bad each manager has been - unless we buy into the notion that Tony is doing a super job that nobody can better.
