  1. I think he cramps up after 60mins due to wearing medium boys-sized shorts.
  2. I saw a quoteless link to Dwight Gayle. He'd be brilliant. Not going to happen though.
  3. Cunningham was a great signing. I hope he recovers and fancies staying. If a decent option is there in Jan though, we must go for it.
  4. I agree. I thought he looked a weak link on Saturday.
  5. Difference being, we do it with too many players who don't have good enough attributes to play out of position and there are usually better-suited players for that position on the bench.
  6. Very poor performance so far. Evans has been class. The ref is shite. Benno on. He'll put the yards in for sure
  7. Totally agree. They need more high intensity training.
  8. We look very unfit. Desperate for some fresh legs at half time.
  9. Sloppy play at the back. We need to up our game again
  10. Tombola Tony is based on fact. His idiotic selections have been an 'effing joke and have cost us dearly. Who'd have thought that a balanced team of players in their actual positions would bode well? Well, the majority of us on here actually.
  11. Liverpool did alright through the glory years. I'm in the camp of us needing experience at Rovers though.
  12. Anyone who doesn't build a team upon a solid defence and consistent selections isn't a good manager and won't achieve anything. 3 years in, you would've thought we'd be able to turn up on a Saturday and have a good idea what the team would be and what positions players will be in. It's a sick fucking joke that we don't have at least that.
  13. Highly likely I think. He needs an excellent performance on Wednesday, any more calamitous shite and I think he'll reallt get it in the neck. It might all depend on which Raya turns up.
  14. I agree. All those mentioned are working class lads, worked their way up and been kicked about on the way. All winners, all grafters. That is what Blackburn Rovers should be about. It worked perfectly under Hughes and even the skilful and creative players had a nasty/tough side to them.
  15. Johnson with no experience? It's neither for me. They must have experience and the standout candidates for me are Hughes, Warnock, Pardew, Hughton or Allardyce. Failing that, Karanka, Pearson, Di Matteo or Moyes. Some more realistic than others obviously.
  16. Gallagher and Brereton are 6ft odd shithouses. Their lack of strength and presence is embarassing. David Speedie, Craig Bellamy and Paul Dickov were midgets but they could hold a ball up and used every ounce of their strength and craftiness to sucker in the defender to foul them.
  17. Totally agree. One of many stupid and basic mistakes he has continued to make. Drop the guy who has scored about 50 goals and faff about rotating the ones useless in that role. He drives me mad. This season is a massive missed opportunity. The quality of the league is absolute rubbish and so many teams are there for the taking.
  18. If we stick with Mowbray, I think Graham, Rothwell and Chapman will go in January. I can't see Dack hanging around long either.
  19. I feel the same. It's the bigger picture. The watching sides make light work of our right hand side, week in, week out. The watching us concede possession cheaply. The watching us kick the ball out of play. The lack of belief. The lack of fight. The lack of intensity. The lack of balance. The subs on 60 minutes regardless of the game or the score. The taking off of Rothwell moments after he opened up the opposition but keeping Armstrong on when he had been a passenger all half. The square pegs in round holes and watching another poor side outfight us, give more effort than us and show more team spirit than us. That late winner didn't give me a glimmer of hope that it was anything other than papering over a shed-load of massive cracks.
  20. They didn't look remotely interested until they got berrated by a few in the Blackburn End.
  21. That was awful. It felt like a defeat. Terrible passing, low intensity, crap defending. That is our style of play and it simply isn't good enough or worth letting Mowbray have another transfer window. Time to go Tony.
  22. It must be some insurance cover or something.
  23. He is the root cause of all of our problems. How hard is it to play players in their proper positions, stick with a balanced side for a few games, make substitutions that are attack-minded when we are chasing a result and identify that the defence needs investing in? I've well and truly had enough of him. In truth, I grew tired of him 12months ago and definitely wanted shut around Easter time.
  24. Honestly, I never rated Robinson at all, so for me the last decent keeper we signed was Friedel (unless there's someone obvious I've forgotten).
