Regarding, retrospective action, I don't recall Tom Clarke being given a red after the incident with Evans which, imo, was quite similar - high boot, going to clear the ball, eyes on the ball, player coming in to head the ball on the blind side. IIRC, no action was taken at the time on the pitch by the match referee The injury to Corry was far worse than the Boro lad who will be back playing again in a week or two. I also don't recall any OTT reaction from either us fans or Rovers management & officials. It was put down to 'one of those things'. The reaction towards Branthwaite from Warnock in particular is disgusting. He's reacted like Jarrod's just murdered his first born! It was an accident, probably should've been a pen, wasn't given, you lost. Get over it.

Coldest I've ever been was definitely that home game vs Brum. My jeans were almost frozen solid by the end of the game & I could hardly walk down the steps in the BBE at the end because my knees were so cold - didn't help throwing away a 2-0 lead! I always used to scoff at people wearing thermals - I'm Northern, we're hard, they're for soft southern panisies. That game prompted my to go & buy a set for future games in freezing temperatures! I now don't care, I'm never being that cold again. If that makes me a soft southern shandy supping pansy, then so be it! 🥶😄

I'm not going to repeat what others have said as I've said (or agreed with) most of it before, but one thing that struck me yesterday was what seems to be an inability to run! It constantly looks like he's got those resistance band things on they use in training. He's so slow it's untrue. I reckon Danny Graham would beat him in a sprint. I don't know if it's a case of can't or won't, but there never seems to be even a hint of trying to speed up to get to the ball first or go past someone.
