Was just having a look at available managers & one that stood out to me as an interesting one: Roberto Di Matteo. Obviously a strange spell at Villa where he was only in charge for 12 games (Losing 4), but has done pretty well everywhere else, including a Championship promotion season at West Brom, where he took them back up after they were relegated from the Prem. Who did he replace at the Hawthornes? Yep, you guessed it! High profile (ish), previous promotion, out of work - could work within Venky's usual criteria & I wouldn't be too disappointed myself. certainly an upgrade on suggestions of Pulis! Just heard on the news that Ian St John has died aged 82 after illness. I don't remember him playing, but growing up, it was the law to watch Saint & Greavsie with my mates before heading off to Ewood. RIP

I'm not a Rugby fan, but I watched "The Rugby Codebreakers" last night on BBC1. I really enjoyed it. It was a real insight into the division between Union & League in the early days & up until the mid 90s, particularly in Wales. Think it's also available on iPlayer. I was quite pleased as I only ended up watching it because it was on after MOTD2.
