Another thing I was thinking about, is also, don't forget that prior to 1981, a win only got you 2pts so back then a draw was a much 'better' result, hence why it was changed to stop teams playing for a draw quite so much.
-
I suppose the number of points also comes into play here then. Theoretically, (as I've not looked at the results of those games) we could've got 15 points, whereas Mowbray has what, 6 is it? 7? With another 8/9 points right now we'd be safe. Has anyone looked at our worst run of points? I'm assuming that this is where the "worst run in 43 years" comes from coupled with the 1 in 14.

It says it all really that I don't think I've actually ever heard the the phrase "1 win in 14" used before when a football manager is being discussed! I think the worst is probably "1 win in 10/11" Unbelievable Geoff!

Definitely not, but I wonder if an away club would? Probably not, but you never know.

A quick google & it looks like they start at around £600+VAT https://www.airads.co.uk/Aerial-Advertising-Products/

He's pissing himself laughing at us now as he knows his mate won't sack him, Pasha is a pussy, & the local press won't push anything too hard. The only way he'd get any grief would be from us in the ground and he knows that that's not an option we have. FWIW I think he'd cave under a barrage of abuse from the fans on a matchday. I'm so angry, & feel so utterly helpless that it makes me even more angry. (I've noticed Les isn't answering his phone today btw!)

This is getting toxic now & it didn't need to be!

I disagree. What the books say isn't necessarily what works in real life situations which he would only know if he'd played the game at any reasonable level. I see it regularly at work, give me a lad in the design office that's got a bit of site experience over one that's just come through the academic route any day. What works on paper doesn't always work on site or will end up costing a shitload more.

Sorry guys, just catching up. Yes, 01254 372001 was the number that came up on my phone but on the voicemail he left the number 01254 508215 which I assume must be his particular DDI.

Anyone else had a call from the club today? Just picked up a voicemail from "Les" asking if I'd be back next season & to call him back if I'd any concerns. That's going to be an interesting discussion when I call him back!

Oh dear, 12. Think all my guesses must've been wrong. Basically all the dates & numbers other than 1875! (Hangs head in shame)

Personally, I like hearing little tit bits of rumours no matter where they're from. I'm a big boy now & I'll make my own decisions on whether or not to take them with a pinch of salt. Usually this is based on who they're from. Some I will ignore as they don't have a particularly good record, others I will take more notice of as they either have a good record or don't generally post rumours. I don't see what calling people out achieves. If you don't like it, scroll past & move on. Keep posting anything you hear & I'll apply my own filters. 👍

Agreed, somebody like say, John Williams & Tom Finn would be great....oh, wait a minute!

According to my daughter, Barry Douglas posted a picture of him & his kid in Astley Park a week or so ago if that counts! 😅 Seriously though, if they're all quiet then that's odd, especially Dack & Olivia, they usually thrive on the attention.

For the love of God, just announce he's gone (or he's going nowhere) then we can all get on with our day. Hopefully the former obviously.

He would but unfortunately he's locked in a room with Pasha & Swag. He sends his apologies. 😄
