  1. Just finished 'Unbelievable' on Netflix which is based on true events of a rape case in the US. I thought it was excellent & I think I went through every emotion possible watching it, from anger, astonishment, joy, to almost being in tears at one point! (only almost - I'm a hard northerner don't you know!) It's an 8 part mini-series so isn't too much of a chore either. Worth a watch.
  2. Lee Brice - One Of Them Girls
  3. ..........and replays during a break in play rather than immediately after the action meaning you miss half the stuff - particularly corners whilst you're watching a replay of why the corner was given! Winds me up. Anyway, on to the game, I have a funny feeling we'll win this one - provided Mowbray doesn't decide to tinker too much - and we'll all be thinking about what could've been. Meanwhile, all it succeeds in doing is prolonging Tony's stay. I'll go for a 2-1, Dolan & Dack on the scoresheet for us, Ivan Toney for them obviously.
  4. Apologies for going off topic. I actually thought you were on the wind up with that one - it sounded like my University days, definitely if you include his middle name! But no, the guy does exist. Now that is a name! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rod_Fanni
  5. I'm not getting over excited just yet as it's only been a couple of good games, however, those last two appearances have been very much improved. Saturday, I thought we were on for another one of "those" performances as he misplaced numerous passes, however, later on in the 1st half and in the 2nd, something just seemed to click and we got a decent performance from him. On Tuesday he carried this on and even took it up a few notches, putting in a very impressive performance and, for me, it was between him & Trybull for MotM. I've been one who's criticised him in the past, but also followed that up with "yet" or "at the moment" and "I hope he proves me wrong". Looks like I might be proved wrong. I'm certainly not one for knocking one of our own products just for the sake of it. I'm a Rover, why would I not want to see one of our lads turn out to be a cracker? Keep this up John & I certainly won't mind tucking into a decent sized slice of humble pie - I might even get a bit of custard to go with it!
  6. Buckley looking good. Trybull class tonight!
  7. I'm in serious danger of losing my shit here with this clown of a ref!
  8. Right from letting them wear that kit! Are players/managers allowed to request they change if it's a problem btw? Even at HT? This guy is rivaling Trevor Kettle for the worst ref I've ever seen at Ewood. I can't enjoy watching the game for being constantly wound up!
  9. Somebody shoot this fucking ref!!!!
  10. I actually think that was an issue with the shirt clash. There's been a few of those 'blind' passes gone straight to their player. Anyway. 1-0. Keep it up lads!
  11. This kit clash is horrific! Nearly as bad as Millwall earlier in the season! Stonewall pen & red card that too!
  12. Johnny Cash - One Piece At A Time
  13. Paul Young - I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down
  14. Bananarama - Love In The First Degree
  15. Garth Brooks - That Summer (Great lyrics - now where were summer jobs like that when I was younger?!)
  16. Where has that performance been fir the last few months? Were we better of Millwall poor? I actually think we were much better. Doesn't change my opinion on Mowbray - One swallow & all that - but I never want Rovers to lose & it eases a bit of the relegation fear which was getting real. On the game, Trybull & Lenihan were excellent, THB did well, JRC likewise, but was obviously blowing out of arse after an hour. Dacky, well, it was more like Dacky. In his preferred position, linked up well, getting into the box & should've had a 2nd had it not been for a blatant foul which the ref somehow decided was a corner & not a pen. Gally much better up front (who'd have guessed! 🙄), and Buckley, after a dodgy first half, played some nice stuff in the 2nd. Yes, I've slated him in the past but, credit where it's due, he didn't look like a kid in a man's game today. 👏. Now, Dolan! Wow, easily MoM for me. The little fella was tremendous. Those Millwall defenders must've been knackered at the end. He never gave them a moments peace, like a wasp - constantly buzzing round them and just wouldn't fuck off! We all know the feeling! Well played lad. Gonna forget about TM for tonight & enjoy a beer, before normal service is resumed. Please Tony, same team on Tuesday.
  17. Joni Mitchell - Big Yellow Taxi
  18. I was actually referring to my post on the previous page regarding Di Matteo who I believe lives in Leamington Spa. Wagner I'm unsure of, but I'm sure there's one or two more currently residing over here.
  19. Or a foreign one living in the UK. 😉
