Still Got mine! It's in a box of singles in the attic. The crappy paper sleeve it came in lasted about 5 mins so I made one out of white cardboard, coloured one half in blue and drew a Red Rose in the middle like on the shirt of that era. I must've only been about 8 at the time, & that sleeve is still going! I'll have to see if I can dig it out next time the missus send me up there for something (Xmas decs went back up at the weekend)

I like that & think that formation suits our squad best. Gives us options to change things about with subs too. Ie Elliot & Dolan for Rothwell & Brereton, Gally for Arma if he needs a break or we want to go more direct. Holtby or Downing could come in for Dacky if need be, Johnson or Trybull for Trav or Davenport etc. It's just the defence that worries me (no change there then!), we literally have no options atm, other than Douglas for Bell. 🤦‍♂️

This is actually quite an important factor in all this. Particularly IMO when it comes to FB groups & the like. A lot of these are likely to be the younger generation who haven't really known anything other than the Venkys era. As a good example, although I'd tried over the years to explain to my daughter all about who Jack Walker was & what he did for Rovers, it was only probably 12 months ago, having been watching Rovers for 7 or 8 years, when she started to ask questions about him. Ie taking an interest, rather than it just being white noise coming from her father's mouth! She is now 15. To also put this into context, as she wants to be a firefighter, I put on a documentary about the firefighters involved in 9:11. I then had to tell her all about 9:11 as she had no idea about it. To a lot of us, these events were 5mins ago, yet there is a whole generation who this is new to. It might take some time, but I think us older ones may need to educate the younger generation that we are Blackburn Rovers! And we expect/demand better for our club.

Seems to be a big change in the fanbase on the back of last night's game. Even the usual suspects aren't even defending him. Even Tony's not been on here, (sorry, I mean mashed tatty) telling us how great he is. Players are regressing once again, he appears to be coaching the life out if them. Holtby is a good example, he looked Tugayesque a couple of months ago, now every pass is either sideways or backwards. He doesn't become a bad player overnight & he's certainly not the only one. There even appears to be a change in Elliot over the last few games which I'm sure will not please a certain German on Merseyside. I wanted him out last season, but this time I'm reaching boiling point with it. Oh to have Jack back in his office just for 10 mins! Feck off now Tony whilst you still have some goodwill before you end up being mentioned in the same breath as those who should not be mentioned! At the moment he's a bit like a fart in a car that just won't go cos it's got into the upholstery & everything!

Time to go Tony. As it was last season around this time. Any half decent manager should be able to get a tune out if this squad (once he's signed a couple of defenders!) I honestly don't know wtf is going through his mind with tactics & substitutions!

I get that it may be an EFL decision, but why do I have to wait until next season for my money back? Why can't a just pay for it & then send the receipt to the club for a refund, say, within 28 days? It's a rhetorical question by the way. I know the answer & to me, it's not right! 😤
