It called jobs for the boys and has been a feature at Ewood, for around 11 years.

I suspect that a fan could have been pulled out of the crowd and installed as manager and got us in the play offs, from that position.
-
A painful reminder to us all, but perhaps one to ensure that we keep our collective ears and eyes open. https://notbottomline.wordpress.com/tag/ruben-rochina/

There is a lot of money to be made, if you can find players who are out of contract and move them to a new club, whereby the new club pay no transfer fee. Remember how much commission was paid to the agent, who brought Ruben Rochina, from Barcelona to Rovers? A few eyebrows were raised about that one at the time and those same eyebrows may well be raised again this summer, especially if all the out of contract players end up at the same club. If an agency can get their man installed as manager of a club, the damage that can be done, is immense. Put the manager in front of the cameras after each match to explain the unexplainable and he might start to either lick his lips, or start to sound like some sort of half whit. Same shit different season basically, after all Blackburn Rovers fans are a gullible bunch aren’t they? If Rovers fans can be accused of being racist, then it’s easy to accuse them of creating an atmosphere, toxic enough to destroy the confidence of the young players and cause them to lose a match, to a team who never win away. Rinse and repeat, until the cupboard is totally dry. The next manager won’t be any different to the string of managers presented to us as good for the club, when in reality, they are only good for the agents still bleeding the club dry. For anyone still not convinced that we are totally free from the poison that turned up over 11 years ago, perhaps they need to look back and research why the agents, who all seem to be connected, still have such a big influence at the club and why the company whose name appears on the deeds to the club, continually allow themselves to be taken for a ride. The Tweet sent out today about entitled fans once again blames us for the demise. The audience may not be quite as big as the one given to Myles Anderson’s Dad to spout his stuff about the fans, but the same message that is certainly rolled out again.

Scary isn’t it, how the original people involved in the takeover, are somehow still around. The bad advice continues then?
-
I know the blogs you did Glen were read by plenty and I have seen evidence for myself of some of the goings on, including team selection. I know certain people on here, for whatever reason, have either not read them properly, or have chosen to pour scorn on some of it. That of course is their choice. Sadly, as we now see with Honeyman, there are STILL links to this regime and although we are all baffled with the players chosen and the formation played week in week out and even more baffled as to why a professional football manager, cannot fathom out, how to change a slide of epic proportions, perhaps there is still outside influence and that could explain how this has come about.

Mowbray had a dream. He failed a football team He had some money but spent it all on crap He had 5 at the back and no attack now Tony Mowbray, is facing the sack.
-
There was another poster who said he had engaged with the club and was convinced changes for the better we’re on the horizon. Myself and others, suggested that this was someone at the club, doing the usual, positive PR but nothing positive would be done, in fact quite the opposite. There is a bit of contradiction in your post by the way. How did you believe it was hoped that the owners would come to a game, yet end your post the way you did? We’re you told this by other supporters, or someone at the club?
-
They have truly learned from the bad advice……… Not.
-
He is the one most likely to provide an assist and a killer pass. Should be a starter every week in my opinion, so long as he is played in his best position.
-
Me too. He doesn’t look right.
-
I know the guy who was the club Doctor at Bolton under Coyle and believe me, he is not a nice guy.
-
I think we proved that last Friday
-
Hopefully there will be another half time rebellion from the players and the tea lady will take over.
-
I don’t know if it’s because I put them to win on my coupon, but Boro have just gone one down.
-
Yep. Nayambe is definitely scapegoat number one, closely followed by JB.
-
Exactly this. The manager playing him in a position that he is simply not suited to, has turned him from a first name on the team sheet to scapegoat number one. A proper manager will not only get a decent tune out of him, but will turn him into an opera singer. No coincidence that it has coincided with our slump in form.
-
Mogadon chose Bennett at full back, at the expense of Nayambe, plays Gallagher every week, in the wrong position, thought Edun was good enough to start on Friday and has presided over a horrendous run for the last 2 seasons. I don’t fancy myself as a better manager, don’t get me wrong, but my own eyes and experience watching football for over 50 years, tells me John Buckley is a very good player. I would not disagree about his consistency, but would state all day long he is a quality player,
-
When you look at the successful run, Buckley was at the heart of it. He will make the team tick when used correctly and his vision is second to none at the club.
-
I would say that Buckley is the best player we have and in the right role, he will shine. The way he has been used and or banished to the bench, reminds me a lot of that happened to Josh King, as he was a wasted talent during his time with us.
-
It is a small positive, as them being as absent as they are and also question marks being raised about the real owners, makes me wonder what is going on. How the football authorities keep on allowing this to go on, with our "smaller clubs" is beyond me.
-
It’s all looking like a repeat of what Venky’s did. Buy a club holding their own in the prem. Start to make ridiculous decisions and get relegated. Sacking a manager like Dyche is one thing, but hope like hell that they don’t appoint some no mark that no one has ever heard of, who runs amok and becomes the most hated figure the club have ever employed. If they do, make sure none of your fans, ever go for a drink with him, as that would really spike things up,
-
I suppose that depends on current levels or salary and certainly what was on offer if he signed a new deal with Rovers. As Rovers fans, we all want the best for the club, so seeing certain players leave can hurt, Hard to say how it would have panned out and I have no knowledge of his financial state, but Connor Mahoney, May well be a player, would would have been better signing on the dotted line and trying to build on, what was looking like a promising career.

I think that might have been Roverite, who I am sure will advise if that’s the case, -

Fair play to you guys, going all that way, knowing the football would ruin the day. I spoke to Darren Rover before and after the Blackpool game and we were both in agreement that Mowbray’s race is run.
