  1. Getting pumped off Leicester makes the club over £300k and making sure the O'Brien deal doesn't happen saves £65k per week, so a fruitful night all round for someone. If you call it 20 weeks wages plus the cup time money I reckon around £1.6 million better off than we otherwise would be. If your only priority is the immediate bottom line a good nights work, for the man with an extremely busy in box.
  2. The money to pay O'Brien could also be a fib. Perhaps the man targeted with balancing the books and setting the season ticket prices, knew his bonus was up the tubes, it it did really happen, so made sure something was amiss. It has happened before under these owners with Agnew and Shaw, hiding things, so would not be a huge leap of faith.
  3. Just in case there needs to be any clarification, or for anyone getting bounce backs, use this. Sw4gg0tt@rovers.co.uk
  4. Maybe this latest escapade will mean even less will buy next season, so dividing his figure by 5,000 may not be as easy. The opportunity is here now, if enough season ticket holder insist on a proper explanation, or vote with their fee. His E Mail address is out there now, so pass it on as you see fit and let's nail him.
  5. Blackpool. My one vote will not change the outcome of the next general election, but mine along with everyone else's will.
  6. Exactly this and even if he had been the biggest flop in our history, the fact that the can balls it up so much is the biggest worry. I know if would never have happened, but imagine if the had made a pigs ear of the Shearer signing. A whole different history of our club, may well have ensued.
  7. It struck me as I pondered this morning, that, if it wasn't for the announcement that he had "signed" that none of us would have ever known about this and the club would have simply covered it up. This got me thinking about how many other huge mistakes have been made that have never come to light? Looking back, when the Coyle appointment was announced, who knew that Warnock had already been promised the job, until the Warnock himself, made his statement, along the lines of one club does not know what they are doing. That in turn brought about other things about it being brought into the open about it and as history has now shown us, Warnock got the team he did joined promoted and Coyle, helped us towards relegation. Perhaps the owners are still being badly advised, but here is some free good advice. Send someone competent in and make sure you rid yourselves of every single chancer and hanger on, especially those that still seem to be there, from the very start of your tenure.
  8. Let’s make sure it isn’t ignored. If everyone on here pastes it and also sends it to Waggott stating they will be sending again, every 49 hours, until an answer is received, he will see it as an uprising. Maybe even post it on the LT website and let our new found friend Nicko have a copy. Great E Mail BTW.
  9. It’s set up nicely for a protest, as the next game is on Sky. Maybe some sort of fan lead protest, such as everyone wearing bright orange or empty the ground at 40 mins, by all heading my for the concourse. Sky being told what it’s all about, so that the commentary team announce I and shame the culprits
  10. What about the £10m too, as they might argue he would have ensured we were promoted. Who know where this will end.
  11. Every fan who has spent their hard earned on a season ticket and every fan who has paid to watch the team, deserve a lot better than what we have seen this window. It is a total insult to every single supporter to have such shambolic people in charge. Every one of them, should be placed on notice as it is simply not good enough and they have simply turned the club into nothing but a laughing stock.
  12. No wonder we are losing players for free. The people at the club appear to be incompetent in the extreme. Hope none are at the brewery right not, organising a party.
  13. I'm not being entirely serious, but do think releasing him now and making him a free agent (unemployed) would actually work.
  14. Release O'Brien, make him a free agent and we then sign him. If we do get promoted, Forest sue us for £10m for negligence and we roll over and pay them, acknowledging that they were correct about that.
  15. I guess SEM never really totally disappeared then, which means someone from th very dark days, could still have an influence at the club. Assuming he still deals with the people who ran that organization, us fans need to be very afraid.

  17. As we all know, the old adage was what is a club without the fans. Without sounding too dramatic most clubs don't see to give two shits any more, so long as they get their TV money and a bit pumped in from the commercial activities.
  18. I got the radio Lancashire commentary and I live in Spain. I do have a VPN though, so worth having that for these situations
  19. Greggs a sandwich short of a picnic, not announcing anything. In fact a complete donut. He couldn’t give you the area of a circle even using Pie R squared. Hope he redeems himself and comes out with some really tasty deal, otherwise it’s chocolate fireguard time.
  20. I don't think it is on anywhere and I live abroad, but can't get it by the looks of it.
  21. Judan Ali has been given pelters on Twitter about his post, stating that Blackburn Rovers fans are racist. I know we can't all sue him, but I think he needs putting in his place as we are not racist fans, but like all other clubs, have a minority who do things like this. Maybe a statement from the fans forum or something, as he should not be able to get away with this either, just as is the case with the fan, who did it.
  22. That's him. Some people are unhappy with him, but I have no beef with him. I can't really blame him for the cummins and goings, he had a recruitment team, in charge of those. We were top of the table at one point, so the hot streak was bound to cool a little and we find ourselves hunting for scraps now. No doubt there will be a bit more argi bhaji before the deadline tomorrow, so I hope the DOF knows his onions.
