  1. No way will they do that, when the title is at stake.
  2. I thought it was in, he hit the ball sweetly and was unlucky to see it go narrowly wide.
  3. He is for me, quite rightly the player of the season. It is no coincidence, how much we struggled, when he was either out injured or not 100% fit. His two goals V Millwall were a bonus, as for me, it’s his covering qualities and protection he offers the back 4 that are his real strengths. I can’t think of a better player in the Championship, who does that, although I do concede, my Rovers bias.
  4. A draw is fine in the Boro game, so long as we win and our local neighbours don’t let us down.
  5. We have to just go to Bramhall Lane and win. It’s quite incredible that we are still in with a chance, going into the last game, despite the shenanigans. I would much rather have this tingling of excitement about the game, than have nothing riding on it and us just playing the season out. I will be in Spain, watching on Rovers TV as usual and definitely have my lucky underpants on.
  6. They won’t lose to us on purpose, to try and get us in the play offs and there is a chance we could finish fifth. I am pretty sure they will rest a few, but will definitely not roll over.
  7. It’s a lot more likely we finish 6th than 5th if we do beat them, so that’s correct. I do think they will rest a few like they did yesterday, but still a tough game.
  8. Thats right. We have to win both and hope Coventry don’t win today or V Boro next week. A draw for them or a defeat, makes no difference
  9. It seems 8 people on here out of 334 who voted, don’t back it, so a minute, number, but some, none the less. Not everyone is up for a confrontation, I guess, but no one can back this regime for certain, who cares about the club.
  10. Plenty of rope given to him here, so well done. We seem to be nothing but a laughing stock and the latest podcast, hammers that home loud and clear. Inspector Clouseau is our CEO in waiting, ready willing and able to replace the current incumbent, Basil fawlty. With the head of stadium maintenance one Rupert Rigsby, it’s turning into a right carry on. It ain’t half hot mum at the club right now, so what could go wrong. Nurse please help!!!!
  11. I did hear that, but was a bit worried about posting anything, after a cock up I posted earlier this week. Its great that he is, as I think he is a real gem of a contributor to the fight back that we are seeing with you and the coalition. I E Mailed him the anonymous booklet printed a few years ago, as some of the material he has quoted was also in there. No one still seems to know, who authored that. It is a quality publication and it has crossed my mind, that Rory could be the author, but apparently not.
  12. This guy is dynamite
  13. I believe the minutes are due out this week and the answer was given to numbers sold, in that meeting. I think 1,000 at best at that point, but maybe some have been sold since and before Gestede out his size 9 in.
  14. Not to mention the record home defeat to Fulham. Its all the fans fault. BOLLOCKS
  15. I have always thought, that there is something buried deep that would cause huge issues if it came out and therefore, the owners and the people involved in the takeover, did not want any deep dive or scrutiny. It is the only thing that makes sense and I have spent hours trying to think of another reason, but never can.
  16. I guess the Gestede interview, probably put a few more off buying a season ticket. Can there have been a bigger own goal, since Shane Duffy was at the club? I know the question about the numbers sold, was asked at the fans forum and from a post on here, the answer to that question, will be made public in the minutes, due to be published this week. Assuming those figures are as embarrassing, as already stated and not much improvement is made, before the early bird discount, at the end of next week, someone could have a lot of explaining to do. Now that we know the club have no intention, of investing, to push for a return to the top flight, maybe another announcement, like the one made prior to the 23/24 season will be made, stating once again, that avoiding relegation, is the seasons ambition. How truly dire this situation, especially given the 150th anniversary of the forming of the club, is looming large.
  17. Thanks for posting this, as I can’t watch it, as I love the club far too much, to listen to someone talk about us, in this way. It has been hard enough finding out what he said, by reading the posts on here. From what I have read, the bit about without Venkys there would be no football at Ewood, is frankly insulting. I have been a supporter of the club for 53 years and now some chancer tells us, that we somehow survived and prospered for all these years without them. The one and only reason our beloved club is in so much danger of not existing anymore, is due to the owners miss management, appointing greedy bastards like Kean, Anderson, Waggott and Gestede himself and just neglecting the whole core of the club. Pay day loans, selling our most prized young academy player and Rovers fan, Adam Wharton and other players, like Raya, Armstrong, Szmodics etc, to keep us afloat, is quite frankly disgusting and the sooner we rid ourselves of this vermin the better.
  18. I daren't watch it, for fear of it upsetting me too much. Perhaps someone needs to send the 3 Rory videos to Rudy and ask him for some feedback. Muppet.
  19. I think my wife is going to attend the match with me. Let me know if you can make it and perhaps we can have a cerveza.
  20. Looks like I am going to be very local to both of these fixtures, as I live half an hours drive from Benidorm. Hard to think, I can attend a couple of games in Spain and be able to drive there and be back home an hour after Kick off.
  21. The owners used that for their court case. They needed permission to send funds, to protect their investment. If spending circa £300m to produce an asset worth £50m at best, then the definition of investment needs changing.
  22. here is a ling to him on companies house. https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/officers/p0cSmYTi_jiQwJX9BhI5rfZNHhA/appointments
  23. We have to hope Coventry don't win either game, as if they do, we can't catch them. If Boro won on Saturday though, it would need to be a draw, come what may, as a won for either side, means, we can't catch one of them and then, we would be relying on Bristol City losing both or losing and drawing.
  24. Yeah, very strange and what a remarkable transformation.
