I was more for them being chucked in the River Darwen if they misbehaved?

I loved standing under the concrete BE, excellent idea, but even cheaper. £12 to stand!
-
So shut the Riverside, it's the oldest stand, and where the cameras are, some restricted views, and the front open to the elements. Open up the full BE, and Lower DE, same price as Riverside, and make the JW the premium stand? I'd go back to the BE upper at Riverside prices, and would create more atmosphere. Otherwise split the DE as before. Or give the opposition the Riverside? So we have both ends....endless possibilities!

7-0 v Forest, they seem to be out of their league, and really should have gone up last season, -

6-1 yesterday against Stoke Ladies, top again, two games in hand. The club should reward them with a game at Ewood. Scoring for fun, would be good entertainment. -

Just reading the tributes to Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, and comparing the obvious affection with which the fans, players and staff hold for him, to our shower. He attended every match, donated to good causes, cleared their debt, without then going on to rack up huge debts of his own. Most of all he seemed passionate about his purchase. Compare and contrast indeed. -

I think we’re doing okay.

The boardroom was transported, as was, from the old Nuttall Street stand. It contains the model of the new Riverside stand.......oh for the days of Jack! -

As a ST holder for the best part of 40 years, prior to the Loon invasion, I went to the Oxford match with my son. We had a great time.....he has issues, and we had to leave at the pitch invasion as he was upset. I was looking forward to the feel good factor thereafter. The club failed to deliver. They missed a massive trick. They have my details. They send texts to my son via my phone, but not to me! I had great seats in the upper BE. They threw us out without consultation, I cannot afford JW ST's, and they continue to insult our intelligence without any plausible explanations (other than clear orders from above to maximise away support), and piss folk off. Is it any surprise attendances are not increasing significantly? As has been said, we are treated with disdain. Fill the away end and make it at a home game for the scum. Plenty of police overtime, as they are all complaining about their cuts in pay. I find it very hard to return.

Bradley Dack

Surely 20 million is madness, but will get the Loons juices flowing. Dack will be sold at their right price. -

It's good that we can have a chat! As it is a Blackburn team and they are doing well, we should talk about it. If we ever get back to the PL they should surely follow! -

I just think that they should have some recognition, but was it a lack of funds from the "owners", that prevented our promotion, having won the league? -

Can you update the list and I'll put my name down for one as all are currently taken? -
I have searched the site, and cannot find a thread and surely they deserve one? (Sorry if I have missed it.) Having won the triple last year, and cruelly overlooked to go into the PL, I note they are now storming the league. Six wins out of six, for 30, against 1! Do any members go, where do they play, and do the horrors from Pune support them? I just think it would be good if there was some publicity whilst there is a lull in the first team fixtures? Any information as to why they were rejected from the PL, despite an appeal, and the obvious that as soon as Man Ure raise a team, they are fast tracked?

Never forget their empty promises. Never forgive their total mismanagement. The least they can do is bank roll us. Until someone who cares traps up! -

Just texting a Stoke fan I know, who thinks they will do a Sunderland this season. He was grateful he wasn't there, until we were communicating, and it's all gone tits up! -
As David Brent has said, and Stafford Rover has alluded to, you need to go to the sentencing guidelines. There are three categories to assault PC, Cat 1 is prison, Cat 3, a fine. These are the starting points only, and there are ranges within each category. It is not straightforward, but a guilty plea merits a third off the starting point. So unless anyone has access to the facts of the original offence, we all speculate. I suspect it was a Cat 2 offence, starting point, Community Order. Which is what he got. So no, prison was not inevitable. It becomes more likely when you don't do the order of the court!

This test match had it all, and is why, despite many thinking it is dull, proves all the doubters wrong. Also a magnificent series. Jos Buttler came of age as a red ball batsman, Cooky deserved to finish on an absolute high, and it was fitting for the Burnley Express to end the match with his own personal record, still a magnificent athlete at 36. A 14 over spell to finish. A special summer for the long game.
