I went to Highbury last year, an awful stadium but a lot of character which I suppose made it enjoyable. Interesting that in the last 14 months or so since we played Arsenal have gone from being the "Invincibles" and were now a team who could possibly pick up a result. I for one will be happy with a point. Who knows possibly Jingle Bells will be sung at the end of the match! -

Good performance from the boys, the thing is that I still don't think that we've seen a "polished" performance from the boys yet, someone is going to be on the end of a thumping soon, if we can keep up the standards at present. Still take nothing away from the team, would have liked to have seen less of Brad though! Friedel- 8 (Hreidarsson and Bothroyd denied by fine stops) Neill- 9 (Keeps getting better and better, played right, left and centre back!) Khizanishvilli- 8 (Classy. Classy defender, plays better with Nelsen though) Todd- 7 (Quietly effective, Hopefully Nelsen is back soon to take his place, if injured) Gray- 6 (Injury curtailed afternoon) Emerton- 8 (Fantastic goal, confident throughout) Tugay- 9 (Only remember one bad pass all day, pure class) Reid- 7 (Struggled first half, good second, good cross for Pedersen's goal) Pedersen- 7 (Quiet, but scored a good goal) Dickov- 7 (Worked hard, took goal well) Bellamy- 8 (Worked even harder, deserved goal) SUBS Mokoena- 6 (Could have been braver for Charlton goal, steady) Bentley- 6 (Quiet, kept possesion) Kuqi- 7 (Great header to setup 4th) -

Matt will get his chance, Its better for Hughesy to see him day in day out than Matty to go out on loan, Its a long season, Matty will get his chance. Interestingly when Matt went out on loan to Coventry his record was: Games 8 (2) Goals 2 -

What colour kits will they be wearing tommorrow? Obviously Rovers will be in the traditional blue and white. Birmingham however have a blue home shirt and a white away shirt, obviously both these colours clash. May we see the black away kit tommorrow? Someone must be able to shed light on the matter -

I hope Norway qualify otherwise we will have no Rovers players there! -
I played football with him for my church team. I used to see him at church and still see his mother and father who are extremely nice people. Hes from the Lammack area of Blackburn. I'm pretty sure he was a Rovers fan too.

Was extremely glad to see Todd left on the bench, Zurab and Nelsen have justified their spots with Todd out of the side. Its his own fault for the "stupid" headbutt and I only hope an extended run on the sidelines may teach him a lesson. Nelsen should be captain anyway in my opinion. At least he won't let you down! -
Can anybody give any ratings for the game? I was unable to get to the game but would like to hear a Rovers fan's opinion as most of the websites I've been on focus on either MGP or Manchester United's poor finishing. Cheers Rog

I think he should be the permanent captain. I'm sure he wouldn't go headbutting people and costing us. -

It would also be nice to have a better home record than away record this season, it has been 3 seasons since our home form has outweighed our away performances. -

Amazing how the match last night has dented the country's confidence! We haven't seen the Aussies bat yet on the pitch and as far as I'm concerned if they caused us problems we can do like wise! It the end of day 1! Far too early to say who has the advantage, for me its still as it was at the start of play 50-50

I actually don't mind Souey, and to be honest I've not heard him say a bad word about the club since he left for the Toon Army. I generally feel sorry for any manager of Newcastle United because they think they're a big club. Don't get me wrong the have fantastic support and are bigger than us, but the fact they haven't won anything meaningful for 50 years says it all. Expectations are too high and hence Souey/Robson/Guillit/Kenny were all fighting a losing battle.
