I'd like a striker but a commanding center midfielder is priority. I know we are struggling for goals but we don't create chances. We need to win the midfield battle, get a foothold in a game, then chances will be created. Not dealing with our lightweight and easily bullied midfield in favour of a striker is like being told your house has subsidence and buying a new pair of curtains. I don't think Dack has had a fair crack of the whip to prove his fitness. I have no evidence at all but I do wonder whether he is purposefully frozen out. He will be one of, if not the highest earner. Perhaps he's not in the long term plans at all and they are hoping for him to put in a transfer request in Jan.

Dack doesn't have to play as a 10. In this system he can play left or right. We don't play with out and out wingers, the width will come from the full backs. He has on occasion previously played in a wider role. I wouldn't be writing him off yet.
