  1. Yeah I have to be honest, it's all gone rather quiet on the protest front. I don't know if that's a good or bad signal.
  2. I don't know much about Eustace or his playing style or anything really, apart from his playing days. My biggest issue is the club were trying to setup an identity of playing as little as 2 years ago, something that would be instilled in the clubs DNA from the youngest age groups in the academy. Is this an appointment just to save us from relegation or will he carry on the intended blueprint?
  3. I have a few questions that i'd hope the Trust would look to ask during their next meeting. It's a changing landscape at the moment, so some of these may be obsolete by the time the next meeting with the club comes round. 1. There is no clarity at the moment if GB remains in situ. What is his employment status with the football club? 2. (Dependent on if GB has left and hasn't been replaced) The club have continuously flip flopped between having a DoF/Sporting Director and going with a traditional 'Manager' approach since the Raos took over the club. Are the club planning to replace GB with another DoF/Sporting Director? For the sake of longevity and to provide an opportunity for succeeding, would it not be wise to advise the owners to keep a particular footballing structure in place for longer than they historically have? 3. (Also dependent on if GB has left and hasn't been replaced) - Which individual (or individuals) made the choice to hire the new manager/head coach? 4. (Also dependent on if GB has left and hasn't been replaced) - Who does the manager/head coach now directly report to?
  4. I agree and also agree with your sentiment that ultimately he is accountable. Was more intrigued to see if he had held his hands up or was one of these people that has trouble accepting they're culpable (I sense the latter without ever having met him).
  5. Last question from me on it all Glen. The bit in bold, did Waggott hold his hands up and claim any accountability to the January transfer fiasco during yesterdays meeting?
  6. This is beyond just JDT or Eustace. Right now, no-one has any clarity on if Gregg Broughton is still employed. So who's deciding our new head coach/manager? Which brings up another question. Is the DoF experiment coming to an end and we go back to Eustace being the manager? It's all just rushed, last minute, planless thinking. Testament to Venkys tenure.
  7. Should've used Topcashback or Quidco to build some transfer funds.
  8. Everything has always been a moving dart board with the Raos, a dart board that's likely rented, with no doubles.
  9. Quite convinced that I read somewhere by someone yesterday that Waggott stated during this tea and biscuits with fans and players, we had money to fund the club regardless of Wharton being sold or the Indian hearing. I could be completely wrong, but I thought I'd seen it somewhere on twitter from someone who attended.
  10. Poor lad should steer clear. We aren't sure if GB is still in situ or if we'll even continue with the DoF/Head Coach structure. So he may not even be a target if we are completely changing structure (again). It's an absolute mess. One thing is for sure, Waggott has assured us that there's money without the Wharton sale to keep the club running. So we should have that inevitable warchest this summer *ahem*
  11. They'll bury this news when they announce the new appointment and a get behind the lads propaganda story.
  12. Again, can we all remember, this is rearranging the deckchairs on the titanic. Deckchairs that need to be arranged granted, if the pool boy is indeed leaving. But let's remember the captain and the white star line are the ones we should be aiming our anger at. Everything else is us shouting at the iceberg for getting in the way.
  13. But, but, he's told some fans we have money until the summer, without the Wharton sale. F*ck Waggott, wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire.
  14. A lot of what I'm reading don't appear to be discussions about current issues at the club in regards to what we've all been speaking about in recent days. How have we managed to balls up 3 transfers in the past 2 January deadline days? Why after selling Adam Wharton did we not reinvest any money into the playing squad as I've no doubt we had targets identified? Are there any plans to address these failures with changes to the senior leadership team? What happens if the high court ruling to allow the transfer of funds in March is denied? None of the issues we've all been talking about include nor needed any of the players.
  15. And some points across to the board.
  16. Szmodics, probably didn't read the part of his contract where it says "you will undertake any reasonable request made by Steve Waggott" Poor bloke, probably wants out quick sharp. Steve Waggott the ultimate grift artist.
  17. One of the blokes on the WhatsApp group said they took this angle previously.
  18. Steve getting the pressure for the first time last weekend and didn't like it. Now using every tactic possible to try and prevent any further unrest aimed at his direction by saying 'look at how it affects the players' . How he's still there trying to hold a rooms attention is mind boggling. I hope none of the rovers groups who went were hoodwinked.
  19. If he goes, I don't want to hear 'get behind the lads' if there are any protests. We are not protesting against the 'lads' or head coach. Don't let the f*ckers fool you.
  20. Probably, in all honesty I can't keep up with what mistakes we made when.
  21. So how did we miss certain documents in last years transfers?
  22. What happens on the 12th March when the next hearing is due if the Indian Courts say 'no' to the money being sent over and the next transfer window is 12 weeks away?
  23. You'd think so, but it's unlikely. Thinking the penny has dropped would be giving them credit. It's why i've wondered if they can offset losses from here against some of their profitable businesses. It sounds dodgy as hell, but I have no idea why they'd operate a business that has essentially been failing for over a decade. It makes no sense. Unless owning us gives them some kind of additional access to UK systems, services as a business.
  24. There is no money to invest, they sold Wharton purely to pay running costs until the end of the season (maybe they won't even last that long). They only accepted the Wharton bid after the high court date was pushed to March.
