Szmodics, probably didn't read the part of his contract where it says "you will undertake any reasonable request made by Steve Waggott" Poor bloke, probably wants out quick sharp. Steve Waggott the ultimate grift artist. -

Steve getting the pressure for the first time last weekend and didn't like it. Now using every tactic possible to try and prevent any further unrest aimed at his direction by saying 'look at how it affects the players' . How he's still there trying to hold a rooms attention is mind boggling. I hope none of the rovers groups who went were hoodwinked.- 9564 replies

If he goes, I don't want to hear 'get behind the lads' if there are any protests. We are not protesting against the 'lads' or head coach. Don't let the f*ckers fool you. -

Probably, in all honesty I can't keep up with what mistakes we made when. -

What happens on the 12th March when the next hearing is due if the Indian Courts say 'no' to the money being sent over and the next transfer window is 12 weeks away? -

You'd think so, but it's unlikely. Thinking the penny has dropped would be giving them credit. It's why i've wondered if they can offset losses from here against some of their profitable businesses. It sounds dodgy as hell, but I have no idea why they'd operate a business that has essentially been failing for over a decade. It makes no sense. Unless owning us gives them some kind of additional access to UK systems, services as a business. -

There is no money to invest, they sold Wharton purely to pay running costs until the end of the season (maybe they won't even last that long). They only accepted the Wharton bid after the high court date was pushed to March. -

TugaysMarlboro replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Most of us suspected that the Wharton money was going to be used to keep the lights on rather than be reinvested in the squad, this article just confirms those suspicions. The Wharton bid only came to light after the Indian High Court date was pushed back, so its now obvious how all this ties together. No recruitment team can work positively if they're told to raise their own transfer funds only to have them completely stripped away. -

Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
TugaysMarlboro replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Certainly a few on twitter this evening sticking it to the owners. Farron, Speedie, Graham Liver, There's probably others too. We certainly need to make a racket whilst there's a bit more focus. Whatever plans come to fruition, I beg that everyone works together with the same ultimate aim. We're already witnessing what happens when that doesn't occur. -

I think we're missing each others point. You're right. Let's just agree it's a colossal fuck up and Venkys out? -

Suhails only here because of Venkys, he has never had nor will he get another job in football, with his skills shown, I'll be surprised if anyone outside of Venkys ever employs him. Waggott is on his last pay day, so will cart on until he's booted. Neither are going to give us answers. -

That's my issue. He's (JDT) clearly pointing the finger at those 2 specifically and let's be fair, he's certainly passed the buck onto GB on many occasions before, so it's no Freudian slip. Maybe it's to play the 'woe is me' card? The optics of looking like they care for their 'investment' to all the fans. Honestly, I've no idea. But the fact this is the 2nd time in 3 windows, GB's pictured shaking his hand and everything is plastered all over socials AND we seemed to change our mind on the deal and it's structure TWICE - says something of an Indian nature, stinks to high heaven -

Yes but why would Waggott or Suhail point the finger at Venkys specifically? They're the only two that wouldn't gain by doing that. Steve gets a nice bonus for saving money, Suhail likely the same and all whilst portraying another paperwork fuck up. -

Additionally I feel for McGuire who has really wanted to come to England to test himself and has potentially been robbed of that for the time being. Should the appeal fail, I do hope he gets his opportunity next season. Also just for some critical thinking. If as reported, we did renege on the initial agreement whilst he was mid flight over to England. Why wouldn't they purposely cock-up the paper work so they didn't have to shell out a loan fee? -

I seem to remember post last January's debacle, when GB came out and faced the music, he specifically said that the process re: paperwork submission had been reviewed and measures put in place to ensure that it wouldn't happen again. It's really difficult to know how much he is to blame individually for this cock up (if at all), it's clear however that not all the senior team are singing from the same hymn sheet. I've worked and arguably still work in an environment very similar and sadly, no-one wins. Broughton will not want this debacle on his CV, it serves him no favours for his future in football, which for all intents and purposes had gone quite well prior to him rocking up at Ewood. On the other hand Waggott is extremely unlikely to have/want or need another job in the sport, whilst Suhail is a Venkys stooge who will get repurposed at one of their other 'business ventures' (like a lot of the useless lot do), have they purposely ballsed up to keep the shareholders sweet and top up their pension/ensure job safety in the future? (delete as appropriate). Or do Venkys want to portray optics of doing the right thing, whilst in the background preventing any and all investments long term? Are the two even mutually exclusive? Any new owners would see right through Waggott, likely point and laugh at Suhail's management abilities and no doubt waltz Sylvester out the door within the first fortnight. The problems start and fucking end with Venkys and anyone they've directly employed. As a side note if Alan Nixon is reading this, your relative defence of Venkys on twitter this evening can get to fuck, you big fat Thistley bellend. -

I'd like to know what @chaddyrovers thinks of everything that's going on. Someone who tries to find the positives in as much as they can, if Venkys et al have lost him, the god help them. (This is not a sly dig at Chaddy at all, just general intrigue). -
Jon Dahl Tomasson - no longer Sweden coach
TugaysMarlboro replied to Tom's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Think that bit is important to note. He's literally told us who to point the blame at. The day before the window closed there were some (albeit loose) links to players who I thought more closely aligned to the 'project'. The day after, it's nothing but loans. If you can't read between the lines now, then you're a blind person. -

Just seen the other thread and some of the apparent twitter posts. I've somehow jumped the gun.... potentially similar to rovers socials.
