An important point and something I've noticed not only in the '3 hostages video's' but also from some parts of the media (emphasis on the some). The impression I get is that they're not only trying to slander the approach being made and belittle supporters emotions on the subject, but lines of questioning have veered off into a tangent completely unrelated to our cause. Everyone who's in the public domain fighting the good cause needs to be confident of keeping to the relevant topics and sticking to factual evidence.

How can he be happy with a person in a position, when three sentences earlier he explains why 2 people turned down said vacant position. I know English isn't his first language, but there's no way he can hide behind that absolute claptrap. Makes Waggott look competent

Me neither. I agree he should be included, but not the primary target. The one worry I have is that Waggott and Suhail will be in self preservation mode and they'll have noticed Gestede's name in the initial press release. They'll be using it as a means to take the heat away from them and trying to get everyone to "look at the shiny, look at the shiny". I'm sure they'd use every trick in the book to keep their names out of peoples mouths.

You were on a hiding to nothing when taking the mantle of media comms. Our frustrations aren't with you as an individual (and I hope you're aware of that) because you can only communicate what is communicable and my personal history with WATR information dissemination, is lacklustre at best. Reading between the lines, your personal stance is not aligned to WATR's stance for next action steps, it's likely they don't align with mine either. Which is perfectly acceptable - if its communicated and everyone knows what they're signing up for. I'd highly suspect that if the WATR group came out and said "we want to continue our critical friend approach" - the majority of the previous weeks/months sign-ups to the group, would ask for a refund and for their membership to be rescinded. All anyone who is a member, was a member or is interested in becoming a member wants to know is: What are you standing for and what is your approach? Allow supporters to make an informed decision. You'll then know if the member base agrees with you (if they monitor metrics for sign-up numbers, lapsed memberships, etc.)

I'm in the category of, not until Venkys leave. Ultimately I do not want to put money in their pockets and if that is at the expense of supporting the players on the pitch, then for me, it has to be. Even they're treated as poorly as the rest of us, you only have to see Elliott Bennett's podcast appearance a few weeks ago. It's a general lack of investment, whether that be the quality and longevity of players signed or contract extensions for the quality players we have who can get us out of this league, with better players around them. Up until this season, I attended 4 or 5 games a season regardless of my ST status, even that's dissipated.

I imagine they'd hoped we were still in the hunt for a playoff place and the manager hadn't ruled it out 3 games into his tenure, by deciding now was the time to release these figures. There's no logical reasoning behind any of it, timings, pricing, the PR spin put out. They're now just hoping people will loyally purchase tickets regardless of what happens. I'm sure some will, I'm just hopeful it's a low enough number for Venkys to realise their only option is to piss right off into the sunset.

Very few, and that's because he offers little goal threat. He's positionally been dropping further back towards the defensive line as he gets older, because at this level, he's not proficient enough in the attacking third.
