  1. I worry that Forshaws legs have gone for sure. My only hope is that a move back up North will rejuvenate him. Looking at his Instagram page, he'll be back around his young family on a day to day basis, which may have had an impact on him at Plymouth.
  2. I can tell you why he did have the ability and physical fitness to be a Championship level footballer. Doesn't mean he can do it his entire career though and i'd argue, he's not champ quality anymore.
  3. I didn't realise Forshaw was 33. I'm all for adding some experience, but the majority of players we've seemingly been linked with have none of the so called "resale value" that gets peddled by the club when it suits.
  4. Well at least we know he hasn't written that whilst on the loo
  5. He was a waste of money, yet you wanted a new keeper or decent backup keeper? Can't follow you there.
  6. I wouldn't normally advocate loaning a youngster, but considering it's the most expensive position on the pitch, would anyone look at Deivid Washington from Chelsea on loan? Signed last summer and hasn't been near the first team this season (bench included). Financially, I've no idea if we'd be able to afford it, but I can see him going on loan somewhere in Jan.
  7. How did Nixon's premonition about a chief scout being named today come along?
  8. If there ever was proof we needed a finisher, today was it. We can get it in and around the box, but then the wheels fall off. Eustace has done what he can and our paper thing squad is coming home to roost with injuries to key players. Ultimately a slide won't stop until we either get adequate reinforcements or those key players return from injury.
  9. I tend to look on fotmob at leagues top goalscorers and saw he had been doing well as of 6 weeks ago. I'd have a look at him, think he's only 21 and keeps finding new levels.
  10. He needs backing in Jan. I'm still not convinced he trusts Gueye.
  11. I don't mind Gueye at all. I think his attitude and work rate are questionable when the chips are down and things aren't going his way, but he is a nuisance when up for it and is a presence in both boxes. My issues are with his overall ability and goalscoring prowess. Imo, we can't hang our hat on him scoring the goals we'd need to sustain a promotion push.
  12. I think we need a striker, wide player and centre half minimum. I'd also like another centre mid personally as the depths poor if Trav or Tronstad get injured. Possibly another right back too if he doesn't think Duru is ready. If we get 2 I'll be surprised.
  13. My thoughts too. If Gueye was Gestede and Ohashi was John Park's doing, then January's even more of a concern than it already was.
  14. I really hope he goes on to score, but Gueye's overall attitude is horrific.
  15. Another one who will say what's needed to keep his job probably.
  16. Who's the co commentator on the rovers feed? Also brain dead. Didn't think Gueye should've had even a yellow as it was a "coming together" and thought Pears made a "great save" for Campbell's first effort (where he parried it straight back at him for another chance to score).
  17. Gueye is not the brightest spark is he.
  18. I hope someone at Ewood is aware of this, players and management included, at least a donation from the club as an absolute minimum should be in the offing imo. Also a potential agenda topic for the next fan/club meeting?
  19. Yeah Osmajic has done a Suarez there.
  20. At least we have players on the bench for a change. Really enjoying Beck at left back.
  21. Ohashi feeding off scraps so far
  22. Good job it isn't a "digital day" game eh? What a god awful idea that was.
  23. Burnley were as quiet as they were because they put everything down their right and Beck absolutely gobbled up anything that came his way. Someone said it earlier and it rings true, Warnock vibes.
  24. That's a fantastic point all things considered, one I would've taken before a ball was kicked. A good way to end before the international break and should be a positive atmosphere around the training ground for the new players to bed into. But robbed of all 3. Abysmal officiating.
