No surprise about Trav, he's been training on his own (entirely away from the club) with a coach of some kind. He posted a short clip on Instagram a couple of days ago training in what looked like a small park somewhere. Surprised it wasn't mentioned more.

Playing devil's advocate, if say, Dolan or someone established in the first team had said that, would you have the same opinion or be congratulating them on making the situation public?

I've always thought the best plan of action is trying to get some kind of traction in the Indian media, although I'm sure it's nigh on impossible. Indian farmers have been struggling and protesting for a number of years, with Venkys a huge proponent of contracting farming. I wonder if the regular person in India is aware they've spunked £200m over 15 years on a failed sporting project in England, all whilst they're scrapping the barrel to survive? It would be horrible to see Joe public in India go against the Venksters.

I've wondered similar at times. I cannot comment on their performances for the U21's, but I get the impression the academy players are all much of a muchness. Excluding the obvious Wharton's and Tyjons, the optics are that you get your opportunity if the manager at the time likes you and you take on board his tactics, if you don't, chance gone.

Haven't watched a single ball kicked, but the stats say we had 2 shots on target. If that's correct, at home, shocking.

Thank you for the insight. It's no surprise that Trav is being portrayed as the villain, it's been in the playbook for anyone who wouldn't agree a new contract and has subsequently left. We'd like to think people are catching wise to it, but sadly, there's more sand in the Blackburn area than I'd originally accounted for...

There's is zero chance Leonard is seen as third choice striker. If he was, he would have been in Spain and not turning out for the U21's against Oldham.

He played 44 games in the championship last season for us, under 2 different coaches, surely it's a big hole.

We really need a RW, Hedges frustrates me more every time I watch him. There's times where he has 5 or 5 touches in quick succession and does well, then 30 seconds later, banjos a 5 yard pass. Tends to fall to pieces in front of goal and usually picks the wrong option. He's a workhorse, but if we do want to push on, he's one that needs to be replaced as a starter.

A good move for Dolan going to La Liga, regardless of the team. I think his biggest attribute is his overall ball control, which La Liga suits. He won't be reliant as much on speed/pace. Needs to work on his distribution, which is more intelligence than ability in his case. Be interesting to see how he gets on there as Espanol were tripe in their forwards areas last season.

He's gone back to Switzerland. It was a medical issue. It could be off, it could be renogtiated. Splinters everywhere.

To be fair, the club said they wanted a centre back and had offered Batth a contract at that time. My assumption was that if Batth didn't renew, we would want a replacement for him as well as another centre back. However the club have now said they aren't going to replace Batth.
