  1. Yeah I've definitely seen Toth on some of the social media posts from the club.
  2. I vote for an narrator with expert knowledge on what is going on. David Brent perhaps?
  3. I have imagined what one of those behind the scenes documentaries would be like down at Ewood and Brockhall. Sub genre - cringeworthy comedy.
  4. Oh we were so close to agreeing a contract extension. We definitely can't now Middlesbrough are interested...
  5. That's the key for me. Once we lose Travis or Tronstad out the first 11, it shows massively.
  6. Granted it's only one YouTube video. But just looking at the lad, he is one big strong unit.
  7. The jist is, we are interested, but other clubs are too.
  8. I've been told they're tiles at the entrance of Blackburn Museum.
  9. I see this mentioned semi regularly and although I agree with the premise, there are 2 problems in the pipeline. 1. We will replace players who leave with inferior players. I don't necessarily mean by design, more that the law of averages state if we don't increase transfer spend, we will replace with inferior players. 2. If we have to keep replacing 3 or 4 of our best players every calendar year, then we aren't really building are we? At best we're rebuilding the sandcastle that a wave has just knocked down - knowing another wave will soon turn up.
  10. But how do you know we didn't offer him a good contract? He's closer to his family if he moves near Derby. He wanted to work with Eustace again. Sorry, I seem to have jumped the gun defending the club.
  11. The spin from some on that is going to make them dizzy.
  12. Maybe somebody misheard and thought there was someone we could to sell to Cash in.
  13. Whichever side of the fence you sit on, the outcome is no investment in the squad from the owners. I think we can universally agree on that.
  14. It's because Trav or Tronstad are off and he's the replacement.
  15. My thinking too, a season or 2 of consolidation for Wrexham I would've thought. Which makes signings like Hardie shrewd business.
  16. I don't really know which thread to ask this question in, as it spans across all of them. Was there ever an announcement as to who would run the club temporarily now that Waggott's gone? It's been 2 weeks now and I can't recall anything.
  17. Whatever great ideas the fans collectively come up with, the one thing that needs to happen, is for it to be blatantly obvious the clubs senior hierarchy had zero involvement. They're likely to try and claim some kind of involvement in anything positive.
  18. I'm glad to see the back of Waggott who outstayed his welcome. For me the biggest one to remove has been and continues to be Suhail Pasha. That fuckers super glue grip on staying is as impressive as it is infuriating. All attention on him and The Venkys.
  19. I don't need to repeat what other posters have already eloquently put, but to add to this. My opinion is that if it was somewhat known Venkys are now willing sellers*, there'd be a queue out the door. A founding member of the football league, the only town team to win the Premiership, six time FA Cup winners, league cup winners. Most teams in England with that heritage would cost much more than Rovers. * - appreciate that wouldn't happen.
  20. So, realistically, are you happy that none of the fees received from Wharton (initial sale or sell on received) goes to increasing the transfer budget?
  21. When Glen said he'd had confirmation long serving staff had been made redundant, she was the first to come to mind.
  22. You have to wonder what benefit this has. I've seen her on countless Instagram posts from past and present players and it seems like she is loved by everyone. Another tone deaf decision by the club. Another question for Waggott at the next forum "your wage has increased by almost 100%, whilst long serving staff are made redundant, explain that one."
