Think plain buttermilk scones but served covered in gravy... Fortunately she loves fish and chips so we avoid that minefield -

Try living in a foreign country with an American wife... The muffin discussion is bad but we have agreed to use our host country as the standard. The BISCUIT argument may never be solved... -

Is it just Blackburn? Grew up in Withnell/Brinscall and for me teacakes have currants in. Though Stuart is on to something as my mum says "currant teacake" but i assumed it is because she is from Bolton... -

I honestly believe that we will hit 5000 or lower if Mowbray is still here coupled with the fact that a lot will have "got out of the habit and economic reality. A decent CEO would drop prices to people back but this lot will raise them instead.... -

Excellent. Not sure if it is of interest but a mate of a mate has a brilliant idea to make some extra money and save costs too. If the players don't train at all then we can sell all the land, get rid of staff, save a fortune on cones and no player will ever miss a game again because they got injured in training and reduces the risk for outbreaks of co-vid. Fecking genius if you ask me -

Five a side tournament - i was captain and decided who played what position. Coupled with actually buying both a kettle and a toaster that were upgrades on those i had and both things i needed - i wonder: Am i over qualified? -

Current Squad - Is it overrated?
Roverthechimp replied to roversfan99's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Fair points. I think it is difficult because this squad and TM are intertwined. -
Current Squad - Is it overrated?
Roverthechimp replied to roversfan99's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
If TM was new then you could make a point for having inherited an unbalanced squad with injury prone players, expensive gambles and some on expensive contracts. After 4 years TM must take some (if not all) of the blame. There is the basis of a top 6 squad, possibly top 2 but it still needs 2 or 3 solid defenders and a manager/coach that consistently gets the best out of what we have. So to answer: yes top 6 given the squad and resources available -
This is my understanding too - had heard whispers before Venkys turned up that the club couldn't sell the land for development. Either way it seems likely that a tribunal will adjudicate. Have no real ill feelings towards the Walkers but frankly if they get to decide then i am sure money will do the talking...

Not good at defences isn't Tony 🤣
-
Is he still alive or can we stop using the word "allegedly" now? 🤔😉
-
Tinfoil hat firmly on but: Is it possible that TM was encouraged to say something to piss fans off to move the focus away from planning applications? IF so - it worked.

Not sure Dario ever spunked 7 or 5 million on players that probably wouldn't raise a million if sold today

Are those TM's actual words? IF yes then sack him for negligence: "excessively works extraordinarily hard" So it is everyone elses fault that the manager and coaches have not prevented Nyambe from overtraining... Wow
