  1. Genuine question: what did the ref do/not so? Thought he was actually better than a lot i've seen in the championship.
  2. Thought Bell and Bennett worked well - Bell got forward a few times without it being scary. Brereton does not look convoncing at all but together with Gallagher they kept Bristol occupied. If Johnson had buried that 2nd chance then Brereton would get more praise for today. That said he still looks like Bambi on ice at times...
  3. Impressed on all fronts. Needed that bit of luck to not concede in first half but absolutely dominated the game as a whole.
  4. Commentator is trying so hard to jinx this ???
  5. It is available on tv for me in Sweden. Expect a diabolical game and loss - at least 1 goal for them in last 5 minutes... ?
  6. (fully expect injuries to Lenihan and Tosin today given our lack of defenders on the bench but i am a cynical, miserable so and so... ?)
  7. Groundhog Tony - doesn't he know that rotation is important nowadays ??
  8. What did Bell do wrong last week or is just to get EB in the team??
  9. Not just Kean and Coyle: Berg and Appleton are only forgotten because of Bowyer. Lambert (debateable)and Mowbray are the only 2 acceptable appointments of which Mowbray was appointed by someone no longer at the club...
  10. I wouldn't say that - more like 10% are acutely afraid of who his replacement would be...
  11. I have zero faith that a replacement would be an improvement given that it was Paul Senior who appointed TM. The next liplicker, doughnut peddler or even Judan Alli awaits... So FFS Tony - buy a keeper and a decent CH in january, play Danny Graham and then sign an actuall goalscorer next summer!
  12. Weird that TM has effectively spent THE same amount as we would get for Dack, kept Dack and not actually improved us as an attacking force... ? Very afraid of who the chumps will hire next but frustration is mounting
  13. Great post by Allroverasia on other thread. I want to think TM has a genuine plan and will succeed but i don't believe it anymore. Struck me again versus v Luton att our players still look lightweight and slightly off the pace compared to most teams
  14. Sorry My bad - quite literally sat down on sofa, switch on game and within 60 seconds...
  15. Expecting a loss here 1-2 just because it would be bloody typical. 2 silly goals conceded and Williams with our goal...
  16. Cred to Dack for battling and scoring rather than falling over and screaming for a penalty. Wish all players would do that!
  17. Was at Chorley FC - 15 quid for "conference" (not sure what it is called now) with parttime players...
  18. Thought the subs did their job to see out the game and created a few chances/openings. Graham and Dack played well but, imo, we needed fresh impetus at that point as the team was falling deep. Good game management by all 3 + Gallagher. Buckley lightweight but will create chances and draw fouls. Was also good to see our players getting involved when Walton was fouled!
  19. Given the new handball rule shouldn't we have had a 2nd penalty today?
  20. Injured according to commentators
  21. More curious has to what the "dribbles won" stat actually means?? Also that a penalty is not counted as a "clear cut chance" ?
  22. "Under pressure" would be appropriate
  23. Wonder if Damien Johnson was involved in the bust up? Coach coming in from "the kids" telling the vastly experienced player what to do... Total and utter speculation of course
  24. Agree in principle (mainly because i think Downing could have been good backup) but in practice few of us wanted Rodwell or Mulgrew. Wharton and Magloire are probably better off playing regularly though I think TM doesn't rate Wharton (rightly or wrongly) A freebie would remove the final worries though...
