  1. It sounds as though he’s going on loan too whoever will pay the highest percentage of his wages. I can’t see that being us Madon?
  2. I don’t think any of us are expecting him too go straight into the starting XI when he’s (I think) played next to no games this season.
  3. Let’s face it it’s looking like we aren’t going too get Assombalonga or Austin. If Gally is who we end up with then I won’t object, he’ll be a lot cheaper and I think as some have said, Mowbray will get a good tune out of him. I think if we hadn’t been linked to BA and CA then there wouldnt be any objection to bringing Gallagher back either on loan or on a perm for a reasonable fee, but after being linked with those two I can see why some might feel a bit dejected if we bring Gallagher in. F**k it. I hope we have a quiet day tomorrow or get any business done early, I don’t want too have to put myself through listening to that grade A tosser Jim White on sky ?
  4. Yeah he’s been linked with a few. We may have to rely on Reedy putting a good word in for us!
  5. I think with the way we play Austin would suit us better than Assombalonga personally. Half his wages on loan to the end of the season sounds sensible too me.. Fulham got Mitrovic on loan last season and he got them up. If we could pull this off it would be a massive statement of intent.
  6. This famous Rovers striker search takes another twist... Now that would be a signing. Goal machine at this level. We can dream.
  7. No I don’t, Nuttall may have scored the odd goal last season but he wasn’t good enough to play week in week out. I remember Bury away last season we won 3-0 but after that day I knew Nuttall wouldn’t feature much for the rest of the season, he looked really poor. He’s obviously benefited from getting back scoring in the U23s and he’s improved, maybe if he played a full season in league one this season he’d have got in to the teens for goals but last season I really don’t think he would have pal.
  8. Birmingham have been in a transfer embargo so signing Gallagher after his spell there would have been out of the question for them. Also loaning him again would have been a struggle as he is on big wages, especially for a club in Birmingham’s position...
  9. For someone who expects so much and is so critical of Graham and Bennett, you clearly don’t have the same standards for Bell.
  10. A lot of clubs trying for Tyrone Mings on loan according too Prixon. He would massively improve our side at left back.. If we are serious about pushing on we should be paying that chunky loan fee and bringing him in Doubtful he’d choose us over other clubs at the top end of the division but you never know..
  11. Say we did sign Assombalonga for 10 million and were paying him big wages. If we weren’t too go up this season or next we’d be f***ed wouldn’t we? Especially after already spending 7 on BB? We are still operating at a relatively big loss every season aren’t we? Someone please explain too me how we could fork out for Assombalonga and not put the club at risk of FFP?
  12. If we were ever too sign BA then at least play him upfront!!
  13. This is the link too Dunny’s. https://audioboom.com/posts/7155849-david-dunn-don-t-mention-the-robona
  14. Seems the type who will get picked up by a Saudi or Chinese club and get paid a lot more than he’s worth. Talented player but doesn’t have the attitude or work rate to go with it.
  15. He’s no world beater but would he be an improvement on Bell/Williams? Absolutely. Think he’s on pretty big wages though.
  16. Yeahhhhhh Chaddy is back!!! Absolutely love that guy me. Buzzing too have you back Chris you beautiful man ????
  17. Yes, the vast majority have played Championship football. The vast majority have also been part of a team that got relegated from this league 2 years ago!
  18. Best: Too many to pick from.. Off the top of my head, Phil Jones pocketing Drogba on his first league start for us in the 09/10 season. Bellamy at home to Boro 05/06, down to 10 men and scored an absolute worldie too win the game. Bentley’s hat trick at home too United 05/06 and also any Brad Friedel performance against United, too many to name!! Worst: Shane Duffy at Cardiff enough said. Danny Murphy at home to Peterborough, he got ran all over and was awful. 3-0 down at HT he was hooked off and never played a professional game again. Bradley Orr was also awful that game... Shabani Nonda, I loved the Nonda but I will never forgive him for missing those chances in the second leg against Leverkusen at Ewood when a goal would have seen us through.
  19. He said he enjoys watching how two footed he is in training and he said something along the lines of having no choice too keep him in the team now, be interested too see if he starts next week. His last few performances should guarantee him a start but at the same time you can’t not start a fit Mulgrew... ???
  20. Don’t think I’ve done too badly there, if I do say so myself
  21. Well he tweeted Nixon earlier today so nothing has changed there. Surprisingly though his tweet wasn’t about Rovers but about Huddersfield’s new gaffer... You can take the Chaddy out the forum, but you can’t take the Chaddy out of the Nixon.
  22. Just stumbled across this video from an Ipswich fan. Longggg way to come too watch that .. No chance they’re staying up. I think them and Bolton will definitely go, but it will be close for the last spot. Hopefully Rotherham stay up as it would be an absolutely massive achievement for them. Don’t know anyone that DIDN’T predict them too be at the bottom of the pile!
