  1. Well he tweeted Nixon earlier today so nothing has changed there. Surprisingly though his tweet wasn’t about Rovers but about Huddersfield’s new gaffer... You can take the Chaddy out the forum, but you can’t take the Chaddy out of the Nixon.
  2. Just stumbled across this video from an Ipswich fan. Longggg way to come too watch that .. No chance they’re staying up. I think them and Bolton will definitely go, but it will be close for the last spot. Hopefully Rotherham stay up as it would be an absolutely massive achievement for them. Don’t know anyone that DIDN’T predict them too be at the bottom of the pile!
  3. He needs to spend the rest of the season playing for the U23s whilst lifting weights in the gym everyday and putting some weight on. He’s too weak and gets pushed off the ball so easily, he’s also absolutely shot for confidence and a run in the U23s might be ideal for him to get some confidence back, it’s not done the Nutt any harm. And yes we definitely need a winger like Chapman, but not Chapman himself. Too many injuries, I fear the lad will be retired by the time he’s 26/27 which is such a shame. Talented kid.
  4. I can’t remember a time Fulham have brought more than literally 50 fans too Ewood How lucky were those 50 that day too see them two crackers from MGP and Tugay though.
  5. One of his better matches still isn’t good enough I’m afraid. We need to improve on him massively, we’re a left back a winger and a striker away from being able to challenge for the play offs for me. I know we’re 6 points off as it is, but I still feel that this squad as it is isn’t quite there yet. Very good start to the season regardless.
  6. Too be 6 points off the play offs is bloody good going but I still don’t quite think this squad is there yet. We’re 3 or 4 players away for me.
  7. The thought of signing a left back and also a wide player to slot in where Reedy has been playing allowing Reed to play in the middle with Travis... That would improve us massively, no doubt.
  8. +5 at home -9 Away... Fortress Ewood!
  9. Easyyyyy. Three on the bounce and we’re back in a good position in the league. Rodwell needs too be kept permenantly. He’s a player... Delighted for Nuttall too come on and bag but what does that do for Brereton who’s confidence must be absolutely shot too bits. I’d be tempted too put the lad in the gym too beef up and put a stone or two on and stick him in the under 23s for the Rest of the season. Comfortable day at Ewood, expect a much bigger test from a resurgent Hull next week but it’s another game where we should back ourselves to get a result. TMBWA COYB
  10. Collins Keane Quaner and Judge are all new additions. Don’t take these lightly today. Get the job done Rovers.
  11. It has too be Brereton simply because his confidence can’t take any more knocks. The lads at rock bottom and needs a goal. Think Ewood would erupt if he came on and bagged.
  12. I’m just hoping it’s not Bennett at LWB Reed at RWB and Bell in a back three with Lenihan and Rodwell.. Not a bad side on paper I like the idea of Travis Reed and Evans as a midfield three with Dack behind Armstrong and Graham. Starting both Evans and Smallwood is way too negative. With those three all bring different strengths too the table.. COYB
  13. It’s what we do and always have done for years! On paper we should win today comfortably, but we’ve been in this league long enough over the last few years too know nothing is a given. We were on the verge of the play offs under GB and drew 0-0 at home to bloody Yeovil! Every stat and every bit of form points to a home win today and that is worrying more than anything Still though, I’m going too follow the form book and back the boys too win 3-1. Nice little home banker followed by a nice glass of fine red when we win. Mercer style. #AlwaysGambleResponsibly #WhenTheFunStopsStop
  14. I watched a lot of his vlogs last season, he seems like a genuine lad. Maybe this is something that has come about by the security team employed by the club rather than being ordered by the club itself. Ridiculous either way. #JusticeForBriggsyBoy
  15. “The 21-year-old has broken into the first team at Ewood Park this season and has FIVE Premier League clubs watching him regularly.” What a load of bollocks watching him regularly? He’s started what, four games with his first start less than a month ago? But yes these premier league sides have been watching him regularly.. Lazy journalism.
  16. Where have you seen that? I can’t see anything linking us with him?
  17. No word of a lie on Tuesday night a young lass behind me, probably about 19 shouted after Brereton lost the ball “F**k off Brereton you shit C**t” an older gent shouted something at her and most were sat there looking at each other in disbelief. Disgusting. He hasn’t impressed me so far and I’ve been critical, but some of the stuff you see on social media is way too far for sure. He struggled again on Tuesday night but I honestly think us fans in the ground are desperate for him too come good. Despite doing nothing on Tuesday he was clapped off with some even standing up too clap him, it was nice too see really. At the end of the day the lad is only 19 and his confidence is clearly at rock bottom. Whenever he pulls on the shirt he should get our full backing, prove us all wrong BB!!
  18. They’re both not good enough to play in this league. Simple as.
  19. Oviedo if he was too take a pay-cut would definitely be an improvement on Bell/Williams. He’s a name that springs to mind off the top of my head, but surely there’s got too be someone’s out there better than them two?! Tyler Blackett, can play at left back or centre back. His contract is up in the summer, currently at Reading. I’d take him... Pawel Wzolek at QPR, winger who’s contract is up in the summer. Presume they’ll be renewing but he’s a good player i’d be taking a look at. Jacob Murphy seemingly not a first choice option at Newcastle, he had a decent game last night, if Newcastle were willing to sell for a few million we should be all over that, I know he’s a player who’s been mentioned on here before.
  20. He is mate. His defensive positioning is nothing short of atrocious, he can’t cross a ball, very rarely beats his man going forward. He’s extremely poor. Both our left backs are terrible, simple as unfortunately. Bell however does have age on his side and I wouldn’t mind him as a back-up too a new left back, which as I keep saying we need too buy more than any other position.
  21. When I was growing up our variety of songs was horrendous, we’d just sing everyone’s name to the “Benni Mccarthy” tune As well as our away support being superb over the last couple of years we’ve got a lot more songs now and it makes an away day even better.
  22. Worst question ever simply because we’ll have to hear Mercer say again how we’ve spent 10 million on two strikers and should be 10 points clear at the top .. In all seriousness though, I’d be buying a left back, making Reed permenant, and buying an out and out winger. If that’s doable with 10 million of course.
  23. I thought Bennett was okay once he went too right back, put a few great challenges in and with 120 minutes played he still ran 50 yards too put a ball in the box which was one of the better crosses of the night, he wasn’t one of our better performers last night, but atrocious? Come on. And Graham did run his bollocks off, he was gone after 90 minutes just as Travis was. For me you simply cannot question giving Graham a new deal, he’s an absolute class act. Do we still need another striker? Absolutely but that shouldn’t mean Graham doesn’t get a new deal.
  24. Not heard one name. Think we can call this window a right-off. Too be fair with us looking like not going up or down there’s no immediate rush, although I really don’t want too see Bell or Williams at left back ever again, We just need to get the summer window right that’s where it matters.
  25. So you’ve moved on from slating Bennett constantly too now saying we shouldn’t have give Graham a new deal and you stated last night how unimpressed with him you were, when for me he was an outlet all night and ran his bollocks off. We all know he’s not got long left and that a replacement should be signed, we’ve already done that but albeit so far that replacement isn’t looking up too much so it needs addressing. You can’t say next season if we have Graham on the bench and around the squad it would be detrimental, he’s someone who could effect a game when brought on. DG still has a lot to offer this side.
