  1. And Konnie Huq used to present Blue Peter and is fit.
  2. I mean his faults as a comedian. His 'Wipe' programmes are ace, but he sucks at anything else. I liked the false news correspondence last year about Farage: *gradually saying it slower* Here's Nigel Farage holding a pint of beer. Here's Nigel Farage holding a pint of beer. Here's Nigel Farage holding a pint of beer. Here's Nigel Farage smiling... and holding a pint of beer.
  3. For all his faults, he's excellent at equally swiping the left, right, and centre of politics. Very funny! How on earth he ended up with someone as fit as Konnie Huq, I don't know.
  4. *cough* Scott Dann *cough*
  5. That Leonards Best hasn't had a real mention is testament to how poor some of our lot have been!
  6. How do you know that mate?
  7. Told you Anaz was best Tom and Abbey! http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/14977644.___My_customers_have_made_it_what_it_is_today______introducing_your_favourite_Indian_restaurant___/
  8. Always annoyed me! The basic offer should be £2.5k imo.
  9. Allegedly Ronaldinho and Riquelme are coming out of retirement to play for Chapecoense for FREE for a year or two. Nice tribute by both men, if true.
  10. Titles are what matters. In a little over 4 years, Murray has won 2 Gold medals and 2 Wimbledons, which is a genuinely phenomenal haul on top of officially becoming the World's Best. He's everything Henman wasn't!
  11. I'm against fracking simply because Nuclear and Hydro are VERY clearly the way forward. Especially especially for an island nation with many many miles of rivers going through major cities.
  12. Much like Seve's spirit lifted the European determination, so will Palmer's lift the Yanks this time. It'll be yet another amazing contest. It's the best competition in all of sport imo.
  13. Absolutely thrilled at the news that the old Apollo cinema will be refurbished and reopened as a cinema with a restaurant and coffee bar. Love that building, saw the first Harry Potter there!
  14. Roads are funded by council tax I can see how cyclists are a nuisance but I've been in more dangerous from bad driving than bad cycling tbh. Learners and pensioners (meaning older people lacking in the sensory health of their youth, not pensioners as a whole) are more dangerous than cyclists imo. Add to that, a lorry on a bridge is FAR scarier than a cyclist jumping a red light
  15. I'm not very clued up am I? just went and checked, the above had great MMA records not UFC.
  16. I hadn't actually intended to put him in my unbeaten list, but it's snowballed In any case there is a list of prominent wrestlers who made a decent account of themselves in the Octogon.
  17. Ha, forgot that!Agreed on Punk. If he'd carried on in WWE, he'd have been a great transition champagne for the new breed. Rolling has done well to step up in putting Balor over so soon though. Shame Balor is injured
  18. Be fair Abs. Wrestlers with unbeaten records in UFC include: Alberto Del Rio Batista Minoru Suzuki Shinsuke Nakamura Bobby Lashley Bob Sapp Sean O'Haire Also Dan Severn, Kazushi Sakuraba, and Ken Shamrock had very impressive records although I think they went from full-on UFC careers to wrestling. Reckon the likes of Kurt Angle, Stu Barrett, and Fit Finlay could've held their own on the Octogon. Punk has never looked the part to me. His shape (despite being a phenomenal athlete) meant I struggled to suspend my disbelief while watching wrestling.
  19. You only have to look at CM Punk to know he'did be toast in UFC. Brock Lesnar, however.
  20. It's just a guess, what they do in America. Senior, Junior, III (pronounced 'The Third')
  21. FYI: If Edinho Jr has a son and calls him Edinho, the son would be Edinho III
  22. How's Petrovic doing these days? I always liked the look of him, but he needed loaning out. Came to us about a year too early imo. -Genclerbiligi after us, then Dynamo Kiev, currently at Sporting. Not bad actually!
  23. Not many people realise that he was regarded as the greatest in the World while playing for Rovers and England.
  24. 'from laughing'...sure...
  25. Be interested to see the implications it may have for Avery himself, given Dassey's testimony was the only 'real evidence' in that case too.
