While I realise the difference in quality, one could equally apply those misgivings to some of Hughes' better signings. Namely the Kiwi from an MLS team, the tall African in Hertha Berlin's C team, the injury-prone Paraguayan, the angry stroppy Welshman.

And not down

I certainly HOPE that's the plan chaddy. Just a shame we don't have a record of sensible decisions in 6.5 years :/
-
Neither as we don't know if those restrictions are in place. If they WERE: Mowbray has a reasonable record of bringing young players into his teams at previous clubs (particularly Hibs and Boro off the top of my head) and his transfer record is so-so. Might be better to encourage what he's good at (coaching) and leaving him to be advisory only re: transfers. On the other hand... Senior has brought in one transfer and it's a Portuguese donkey. I argue it'd be worse long term, but may be the short term fix required. The above makes sense as a normal club. But in the state we are? I haven't a clue.

Mowbray is happy to have the title of Head Coach, implying he is happy to have such restrictions in place (if they even exist, we won't know til it comes out).
-
Stuart... aren't you agreeing with him?
-
May just be that Johnson wants to 'finish business' at youth level, whereas Dunn has had (exceptionally poor) first team management experience.
-
Brought through Emnes and Steele at Boro I think?
-
La La Land has been roundly criticised for having a white guy being the 'jazz traditionalist', when traditional jazz is 'black music'. You just know that of it was a black actor instead of Ryan Gosling, it'd be 'lazy casting based on racial stereotype' though.

Devarn Green, was he called?

😂😂😂😂😂 Not such a goodwillie after all.

And Konnie Huq used to present Blue Peter and is fit.
-
I mean his faults as a comedian. His 'Wipe' programmes are ace, but he sucks at anything else. I liked the false news correspondence last year about Farage: *gradually saying it slower* Here's Nigel Farage holding a pint of beer. Here's Nigel Farage holding a pint of beer. Here's Nigel Farage holding a pint of beer. Here's Nigel Farage smiling... and holding a pint of beer.
-
For all his faults, he's excellent at equally swiping the left, right, and centre of politics. Very funny! How on earth he ended up with someone as fit as Konnie Huq, I don't know.

That Leonards Best hasn't had a real mention is testament to how poor some of our lot have been! -
How do you know that mate?

Allegedly Ronaldinho and Riquelme are coming out of retirement to play for Chapecoense for FREE for a year or two. Nice tribute by both men, if true. -
Titles are what matters. In a little over 4 years, Murray has won 2 Gold medals and 2 Wimbledons, which is a genuinely phenomenal haul on top of officially becoming the World's Best. He's everything Henman wasn't!

I'm against fracking simply because Nuclear and Hydro are VERY clearly the way forward. Especially especially for an island nation with many many miles of rivers going through major cities.

Much like Seve's spirit lifted the European determination, so will Palmer's lift the Yanks this time. It'll be yet another amazing contest. It's the best competition in all of sport imo.

Absolutely thrilled at the news that the old Apollo cinema will be refurbished and reopened as a cinema with a restaurant and coffee bar. Love that building, saw the first Harry Potter there!
