Would you want Mowbray to stay on if Lenihan and Nyambe signs extensions? Can't disagree with what Mowbray had to say about Nyambe in the BBC Lancashire interview, but didn't realise their relationship was so strong (from Mowbray's point of view anyway). I can't see the business sense in letting Nyambe leave on a free and bringing Zeefuik in for north of £2m. Farke seems the obvious choice, but seldom does this club handle business quickly. They're good at keeping things under wraps though, so the final choice might be someone from left field onc emore.

Hedges isn’t a starter in a side challenging for promotion. Markanday unproven but is hopefully versatile enough to operate R/L/C. I would look to fill that position with someone that prefers to play there. -

Hedges should never be a starter for us, and Markanday can operate through the middle as well I believe - and so can Poveda. But I see your point and we need someone to play on the left side to replace BBD to avoid seeing Gallagher there on a regular basis. -
Will never forget his ultimate fair play vs. Pompey.

Wouldn't take Poveda back solely because Leeds seemed like they were a pain to deal with when he got an extensive injury. -
Dailly was a panic signing after Hendry had left. The others really can't be excused.

Would definitely take Khadra on a permanent deal. Has lots to offer and can turn into a real player. Stretches the opposition and has a good right peg. Decision making not the best, as pointed out. Wouldn't mind Semenyo from Bristol City or O'Hare from Coventry, not sure about O'Hares price tag though. -
I think Mowbray has taken us as far as he can. We'll never know where we would have ended up had he gotten his wish and offloaded Rothwell in January and used the funds to strengthen. Rothwell was also given time off against Luton away, a huge 6-pointer looking at it in hindsight. He also dropped the ball in bringing in another forward, and arguably Hedges has played one good match after signing (vs. PNE). How he has mismanaged Nyambe will never be forgiven in my eyes. Farke has ties with Dortmund and should have good contacts in Germany where there are many talents in the top two divisions. I'm sure he won't mind sunny Blackburn over Krasnodar either.

v Bournemouth (h) - 30/4/22

Fought well in the first half, difference in class in the second. Brereton's chances were a lot harder to score from compared to the ones that Solanke took well care of. I hope we're not stuck with Dolan, Hedges and Sam upfront next season. Sort of relieved to finally get it out of the way. It's been a painful few months now, but watching our in-form run earlier in the season brought brought a lot of joy back to my life as a Rovers supporter. Hope we get some funds to strengthen. -
Done well to stabilise the ship. Brought in some exciting young players, and a genuinely good bloke. Think he's a good man-manager but ordinary or worse tactically. A very good season cut short by some stubborn decisions from the manager and a bit of bad luck with injuries and when it was crunch time (missed pens). Thanks for everything, nervous about what's to come.

Just hit the bar.

Bournemouth was a must win however you want twist it. QPR not up for it.

I thought Johnno's deal expires in the summer?

We have been overcrowded in the middle of the park for months now, and Mowbray has not changed his system until now. We look a much better side when Travis, Buckley and Rothwell operate centrally. PNE away is a tough task, Boro will dread going there on the last day of the season. I think we will get beat by Bournemouth on Saturday but not without a fight. If it does come down to the wire, then Birmingham City away is similar to this one - we are the better side if we can find our mojo. Hedges looked a lot better from the start than off the bench.

I wouldn't mind DJ taking the reigns for the remainder of the season. A new manager needs to be lined up early so we can start replacing all the outgoings. A lot of work to be done over the summer.
