  1. I view both vlogs and official highlights, not one or the other, and consider myself a standard type viewer. I think the PL has bigger problems with piracy. Highlights of a professional standard with goal and highlights of major match incidents on multiple replay being avaiable within minutes of the game end. I do a search after all Rovers games and will be keen to see post game vlogs today, I am confident of not being disappointed. GOD bless free enterprise, Down with Big Brother.
  2. I have to say and despite my views on Rovers vloggers that I do agree with you.
  3. Saw this a couple of days ago, hope they do updates like Spuds did. 2-2 today.
  4. Interesting stuff thanks. I follow a vlogger who does airline and train trips and just jacked his job in to do it full time. He must be coining it with ads and patreon etc. Way to go.
  5. I don't know what other clubs are doing but I do know that there are still lots of vlogs of other clubs easily available which contain match highlights. No one watches the lads or the girls vlogs for the quality of the few minutes of highlights they contained, that is for sure. Perhaps a total ban on fans taking any form of recording device into the ground is needed. I also doubt that these vlogs are monetized, never having seen an advert on either, I do not know if there are other ways to get money from them. I understand the rationale, just don't agree.
  6. I truly think the Club have lost the plot over this. Her videos were a threat to absolutely no one, just a die hard Rovers fan trying her best to promote the Club. Pathetic by Rovers.
  7. Accidently pressing the wrong icon on my phone I found myself back in time to page 1 of this thread to read - According to TM 'the recruitment plan is in overdrive' - well thank goodness for that otherwise nothing much might have happened. And finally Mowbray confirmed what some of us had suspected, we were never, ever, ever, ever in for Assombolonga. He was never a target , despite the interesting diversionary PR play on here.
  8. I see that in a humanitarian gesture Rovers rescued a young very tall lad who was stranded on a rock in the sea. Family Club of the Year guaranteed. I just love winning trophies.
  9. Fake news alert! That is a photo of the home crowd at the Antigua Test Match, day 1, discussing why England are shit.
  10. We have had noise from Mowbray re the scouting/recruitment updating for over a year, confirmation it had been funded and then that it was all in place a couple of months ago, maybe longer.
  11. Me too. Online video plus full player history/stats etc etc. The full monty.
  12. Head to anywhere in mainland Europe, you'll be safe from discovery there. Go well.
  13. No, it's the Br'er Rabbiton thread. Can I claim to be Mod too? I can then transfer the MB colour scheme and bring back an old favourite
  14. RIP Mike Harrison. I was lucky enough to see him play in that great Rovers team.
  15. We at least gave it a go v Toon, no feelings of what might have been here. I predict a City v United final, just the luck of the draw.....
  16. Like you I felt the Rodwell signing was low risk for Rovers. Rodwell is PL quality and his agent will now be looking for a PL berth and wages, if he's doing his job properly. If Rodwell can be convinced that we are serious about mounting a challenge to get to the PL soon, next season?, he may hang around. How Rovers compile an attractive contract offer will be interesting, based on our current wage structure where £14k pw basic is the current rumoured max. I have no doubt that the player is grateful to Rovers for giving him the chance to resurrect his career, but football is all about the money, imo.
  17. I have no idea how accurate this is, source Football Manager 2019 editor. Rovers suprised me though.
  18. All set up for a heroic 2nd innings by England. One can but hope after that 1st innings shite.
  19. I wonder what the other words were? https://www.bbc.com/sport/cricket/46980881
  20. Mowbray is on record as saying he has an "elite player" team that he regularly consults with on team/playing matters. I commented adversely about a week ago and was politely slated and told it was common practice in sport and business (ok I follow that part) , in sport look no further than Aussie cricket. Anyway who's in this "elite" group, any ideas.
  21. I agree, he was certainly one who did push hard for a move. He's also a walking medical wreck.
  22. Rodwell will have his eyes on the PL not some second rate club playing in a small athletics ground. Wages would be the only attraction to a footballer of his age and quality.
  23. Great preview, thanks. Hull have an Aquarium but we have the majestic River Darwen and Canals. I went to Hull once to get a boat to Holland. Don't remember much, got pissed, lost a lot of cash gambling and overslept resulting in being forcibly removed from the floating bean can. I don't like Hull. I saw no Tigers, just a couple of pink Elephants. Rovers will win this 2-1
