  1. Maceo cost us 1 or 3 million when we bought him and then he had cost us 350k when we wanted to be shut off the future Fat Lad There's nothing else happening so Maceo it is.
  2. I don't usually do this but what is your source? My memory plus Google checks go with just over 1 million Would Hughes etc have given a 350k signing a 4-year deal? Doesn't add up.
  3. Tony can play Elwood Blues in ''The Bullshit Blues Brothers", sorry can't Photoshop
  4. I'd forgotten it was under Hughes. Really his only very bad signing amongst a lot of superb recruitment. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/mark-hughes/spielertransfers/trainer/1646/plus/0?station_id=2636
  5. 1 million, 4-year contract, very rare sub appearances at Rovers, loaned to anyone who was desperate, left on a Free and retired from Football soon after. A classic.
  6. Well done to Rich Sharpe for having the balls to put his name to that and get it in the Paper, mind you it does, correctly, give extended credit to TM for Rothwell.
  7. What an awful Logo our Kit sponsors have. A simple '10Bet' much more usable, unlike the Toilet seat.
  8. Yes, maybe I was a tad harsh with the 'technically gifted' comment. We finished normal time the stronger side and I think could have won it in ET apart from the 2 awful errors. I would favour Trent ahead of Trippier who had an awful 2nd half to his Spurs Season.
  9. We were second best for most of the game, the defensive errors actually exposing our lack of 'technically gifted players'. The result exposed Southgate's weakness on not selecting CL final players, Henderson in particular. Walker should never play for England again, has speed and a bit of physical presence and that is it. Chilwell was good as was Pickford but Sterling was off his game.
  10. Spot on, which led to too many backward passes putting receiving players in dangerous places
  11. And its 4.17 am here and I'm still watching these fuckwits, bottling tossers
  12. De Jong like grass on his arse. He'll fit in well at Barca
  13. Sweet Jesus WTF was that all about
  14. We actually finished strongly. Hopes and expectations soar. Decent game though.
  15. No, nothing related to VAR decision making process
  16. Hope so, my post had a typo in it, now corrected
  17. I'm 67 now and without wanting to tempt fate that's a decent age in my Family history. I hope I'm around to see it, almost a decade down the drain already and all due to an Indian family. RUNTS.
  18. Yes, indeed, we can but dream. Watching the Cricket helps too.
  19. He's been in Scotland and just released by Dundee. He seems to have developed into a non-scoring sometimes wide striker.
  20. Those 5 - 6 players, did they get contract extensions and improvements early last Season and now we expect them to just walk away? Football doesn't usually work like that.
  21. Rodwell will be looking at all options, including wages and playing time. I certainly can't fault him for that, why should he be rushed. Mowbray can always take the decision away from Rodwell if he wants, just withdraw whatever offer was made and get the finger out on proper recruitment, I suspect Rodwell was not promised a starting place at Rovers with wages to match ....
  22. It's contagious over a vast distance too.
  23. A bit more fun at the African Champions League final. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/48483152
  24. Don't know but he has played full-back
